The lighter in his hands flickers. The flame glistening on the camera burning it's vision into my mind. Thoughts flicker and fade to ashes. Burning away any semblance of what I was doing as my focus shifts.

Again and again, each time he lights the flame for a second and each time I can't help but feel my mind burn. Thoughts drifting to the void. Ash pooling from my head. "Umm." I say as everyone in the call goes quiet. They're looking at me and I don't know why. I'm confused again. My head reels each time I see the flicker of a flame. Each second taking more and more of my thoughts. My mind. My everything until all I can do is stare at the flame taking up my entire focus. It shuts off. I shut down and sink into trance. My body crumbling. The sounds of people talking about me drifting through my ears but barely registering to my mind. And with a sharp snap, I'm dragged back up. Back to myself. Ready for a new game.

He dangles the lighter on the screen, "Please..." he says, with an evil smirk. He's looking at me even with everyone else here, I know it. I can feel it the way his eyes burn into my head. I gasp. In the middle of the chatting. In front of everyone I can't help but start to whisper, "please" back.

"I can't wait to see this conditioning take hold." He says to everyone and I shrink into myself on the camera. Covering my face with my cardigan I squirm in my chair. I knew that's what he was doing. I knew they're all watching me be ruined by this game but I just can't help myself to keep asking. Burning my thoughts. My mind in ashes. My awareness sinking down back into the darkness of the void. I love it. I'd beg for it right here, right now if he asked me to I just know it, but I'm on my best behavior.

like being conditioned to get just a little sleepier with every click, a little slower, a little dumber. Drifting into puppy space like normal, but just a little deeper. Always knowing the click, click, click is a reward but not understanding why it feels so much better than it used to

It's true, isn't it? You don't have to hide something like that from me. Whether this is the first time or the fiftieth time you've let my voice into your head, it's so easy to see, dear listener. It's practically radiating off of you.

That sense of calm, feeling my words press deeper inside your mind. The way that your body is already beginning to relax. Breathing in and out softly for me, letting your lungs slip into a gentle rhythm. In, and out. In, and out, and with every breath that you take for me, you can feel your muscles loosen. You're doing so very well already, and there's no reason to stop now. Why resist, when the feeling of submitting and sinking into relaxation feels so much more peaceful and calm?
