there are four human activities and they are crafting, stories, math, and fucking around. whatever you're doing is at least one of those four.

in the future, unnecessary wireless technology will be denormalized and deprioritized as signs of bourgeois decadence. the technology's use will be heavily restricted. all airpods will be retrofitted with 3.5 mm audio cables. wireless chargers embedded in furniture will be banned, destroyed, and recycled to make useful things.

this is my most luddite post ever but i hate hate hate hate hate the culture around wireless technology as it's been increasingly pushed by apple and other tech companies. i don't WANT stupid headphones that barely connect and need to be charged every 15 minutes and cost way more for worse audio quality i want to connect things with a CABLE that is plugged into a PORT because it is RELIABLE and it WORKS.

like. wireless devices have their own use cases, and i can easily imagine people preferring it in a lot of ways. but it is not a Replacement for any kind of wired technology, at least not to me; it is a sidegrade that is treated as an ~evolution~ because of an artificial push by the bourgeoisie.

you should get a second evening for reading fan fiction. And you should get an extra day in the week to do arts and crafts.
