Tea For Tea is an upcoming queer store w/ the mission to promote the warmth and joy of queer love!

We're launching with eight original tea blends, each one lovingly crafted to represent an aspect of Queer Love <3

just toured the commercial kitchen I plan to use for my queer focused tea business it was so cool aaaaaaaa

b/w that and being accepted as a vendor for two markets in October it's starting to feel so real!!!

It's the old butch couple at the grocery store.

It's abundant... but sometimes it can be easy to forget that.

Sometimes it feels like everywhere you look, our lives are being politicized and debated. Our enemies, like every generation of oppressors before them, want us to be afraid. They know we're stronger than they are, so they're counting on us feeling hopeless, beaten down, and resigned. 

At Tea For Tea, our mission is to fight against that by spreading the warmth and joy of queer love. We know that in order to be resilient, we must take the time to take care of ourselves. We must find the time to relax, to smile, to laugh, and to feel close to one another. 

That's why we're starting the Queer Joy Newsletter - a weekly collection of uplifting news, community highlights, queer art, and so much more! We want to help you find reasons to smile, new queer creators to support, and the resources that you need to feel empowered to be yourself and to keep fighting for your rights.

Tea For Tea is an upcoming tea shop - for queer people, by queer people. 

Throughout my life, queer relationships and tea have been two constant sources of comfort and strength, even through the toughest times. In late night conversations with the people that I love and in early morning cups of hot, black tea, I’ve found moments of respite from the anxieties of living in the world as a queer person. I’ve found moments of happiness.

That’s why I’m starting Tea For Tea - to spread the warmth and the joy of queer love as far as possible. To help other people feel the empowerment I’ve felt. To build a community based on comfort, resilience, and radical, unadulterated queer joy.

There’s so much work to do, but I feel lucky to have a chosen family and a community around me that have been so supportive and encouraging.
