Tetia's backstory is that she was super loved and cherished always and was never abandoned or taken advantage of or whatever and one day her original master had to retire due to early onset arthritis and they called up Qifrey like "hey would you mind taking in my absolute ray of sunshine my hands don't work anymore" and he was like "absolutely" and nothing bad or tragic ever happened or will happen to her don't worry about it Don't WORRY

Obsessed with Qifrey because what we see of him is 50% him being the best most kindest teacher and 40% a suspicious and desperate wildcard. But very rarely, just 10% of the time, we get to see him when he’s not being a teacher or being around his friends and family and not being a witch at the scene of a disaster, and he’s like, the most bitchy and hateful creature. Guy who is sick of being in a space. Acting in a way that makes you go “ah, that small withdrawn child grew up into a withdrawn adult who is just barely better at hiding it”. Obssessed. Guy of all time.

This reminds me of the idea that some of the best parents are the ones that will choose to never be one because they know they can’t be perfect. Of course Olly would be a great teacher, but he’d never allow for less for his students/kids 🥹
