the new mutants

In my Marvel AU similar MCU events happened, but Pietro and Wanda were not Hydra, are mutants, and instead fought against Hydra’s occupation of their home. Leading to them joining The Avengers.

Like Xi’an was the original leader because she was 18 & the other were several years younger. Sam and Dani are 17 & 16 while the others are about 14, & that’s why they rely on each other much more easily than they do the rest of the team. Sam feels like his teammates are his responsibility because he’s older & more mature. Rahne gets away with stuff because she’s the baby. Doug & Yana bridge the gap where the co-leaders make the decisions & the rest of the team doesn’t & they’re in the middle age-wise. Etc.
