it was like. we solved a real BIG problem and managed to prevent a lot of folks from getting sick or even dying and then some schmuck (who by the way, literally got his medical license taken away for the Shit he pulled) was like “uhhhhh actually no. this is bad actually” with NO evidence and people listened????? what the hell
Worse, it was evidence he literally fabricated for his own financial gain by performing painful and intrusive experiments on unsedated disabled children without their consent! Hence both the license revocation, and the full revocation of his paper in 2010! This is all trivially easy to look up, read about and verify! And yet, as many as 1 in 4 parents in the US still believe that vaccines cause autism and that therefore they should be avoided because apparently having an autistic child is worse than having a dead one. What the fuck is happening
