the way I was waiting for louis and Armand to reconcile after seeing them in ep 1...bc they've done wrong to each other (not saying the abuse was equal in any way) but there was some cord connecting them, and my loumand heart was just greedy for that...but no they had to make this poc a cartoonish villain torturing louis again like in the trial to be awarded with an apology...like why did you destroy loumand like that

I do not have any problem that in the long table lestat sees himself as the victim in all his relationships bc I mean it's still in his head...and it is quite difficult to admit a wrong as grave as what he has done against louis and claudia and others...but all of this would've been more appreciable if there was someone challenging his pov like daniel for louis and Armand in the previous seasons bc now it just seems like a boring, racist narrative to absolve him of all his wrongs
