Tales from a librarian

It’s been a long while since my last TC post and you know I gave it up four years ago. Things happened, a lot of bad, irritating things, and a lot of very good things. I work in a bookshop now and I’m getting married next year, so well, everything’s fine and there’s some kind of balance in my life.

But I was at the bookshop months ago and it was nearly closing time so I had decided to relax a bit and read when I suddenly noticed someone looking at the books exposed on the shop window and it’s HIM.

So I went to open the door, he didn’t expect to find me running the place so he stopped to have a tour of the shop. I was so bloody nervous, I was trying to act cool, not to show my shaking hands... It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

Then he went away saying that he liked the place, asking how life was, quick and awkward kisses on the cheeks and he was gone. He knows I’m in a relationship after two years ago I had to tell him because he was texting me at night saying “Hello sexy”, but I guess neither of us really forgot what happened in 2015. Maybe it meant something for him as well.
