Once a proud High Overseer of Slave Acquisitions for the Zygerrian Empire, Hayat was a key player in the resurgence of the slave trade for Zygerria during the Clone Wars. She worked closely with Queen Miraj Scintel, becoming her closest acquaintance, and aiding her ill-fated attempt in restoring the empire's former glory. But when those ambitions were crushed and Scintel's arrogance resulted in her death, even Hayat, and her equally as arrogant self, could read the situation. Zygerria's time had long since passed. And they were clinging onto a long bygone past.

Now, stripped of her former power and influence, but no longer blinded by loyalty to a dying throne, the illusion shattered by the humiliating collapse, Hayat did something unthinkable. Something so controversial to her people, it only resulted in their scorn.

She walked away.
