Gather round children for an “only Arelis” tale... Sooo I’m working from home for about 7 weeks now but I go into office once every week or other week to do the minutiae stuff like scan and fedex etc that is just not as easy to zip through at home. Today I got all dressed up all hoochie cute AF to go into empty office. In addition I had won the Rona Scratch Off of a ShopRite pick up. So I get to office run through the office stuff, pick up my groceries get home and still it’s like 3ish and I’m needing to do a 3:30 zoom. In the background, there’s flights from DR to 𝗨𝗦𝗔 again so I’m trying to apply credit so I can get Mama Cristina back home ASAP. We all miss her. We need her. Holds/call backs/dropped calls...HOURS of this. It’s 3:30 and I’m still on hold with the typical hold music. I can’t find my headphones so I put it on speaker and I pop on zoom on mute. I can’t hear anyone. I think, “oh ok maybe it’s because I’m on mute?” I unmute. Now- they can see and hear me but I still can’t hear them. Me = “incessant airline hold music plus tv”. I fiddle with computer volume. Wiggle cords. Ok I think. Let me pop out of room and pop back. I pop out of the room. My t shirt had ridden up to crop top from all the grocery in and out etc. Im parading around my living room checking cords, muting, screaming “COLLIN COME I NEED YOU TO FIX THIS”.
