Zero May Cry is objectively the funniest MVC team to me because I can't stop imagining in a shared Capcom universe, Zero just being close friends with Dante and Vergil who bonded during the events of MVC3 in the fight against Galactus and the shenanigans that could come because of this friendship.
And honestly... I think my favorite concept is imagining Dante keeping in contact with Zero, especially after the events of DMC1 when he found out Vergil was Nelo Angelo and that he was seemingly dead, and calls him up to meet with the then 16-17 year old Nero as his unofficial uncle years later after DMC4.
The interaction I'm imagining devolves into Nero is just looking down at this half pint shorter than him who's been friends with Dante since his early years of running Devil May Cry and has several questions.
Meanwhile Zero is just looking at Nero before noticing he's holding Yamato and can see Dante making every gesture to keep him silent he can make behind Nero's back and has several questions.
Also X & Axl are there too, because of course.
Basically... Let Zero be homies with Dante & Vergil and just watch over their friend's/brother's son as uncles, hilarity ensues.
