So there is this thing I do where Iโd roam around on Wikipedia finding out cool Greek mythology facts and I stumbled upon Chrysippus, his tragic story really touched me and I was disappointed to find out that Euripides made a play about him that is now lost. One thing that especially stood out to me is this pottery art depicting Chrysippus with a woman named Zeuxo. Who is she? What is she to him? Is she the oceanid Zeuxo? Or a mortal woman who happens to share her name? There is not a single surviving source that tells us. Iโve drawn Zeuxo before so I decided to draw her again.
