First sketch in sai!!...sheeesh. I'm a really messy person and start on a tiny canvas and throw shapes around. Who is it you ask??

Of course it's Dean and Cas, silly. Who else would I draw. Second sketch! Still really messy. But I'll get back to it later 

ENLARGEEE THE CANVASSS!! This is about 3000 pixels width? I always make the background before going onto lineart. Focusing only on the areas I know are going to be visible..  LOTS OF GRADIENTS AND STARS AND STOCK PHOTOS AND FILTERS AND GLOWING AND CRAP. 

ADDIN SOME TREES WOAH. Again only focusing on the areas that are going to be seen. 

 as you can see it's not very pretty up close. Who cares about detail when it's that far away amiright??

IF YOU THOUGHT I COULD DRAW CARS YOU ARE VERY WRONG. This was heavily referenced off a photo of an impala, but I had to work out the lighting and colors to suit the scene. 

Shading and stuff! Let the marker tool and the blur tool be your best friend. Add shines. 100% success

Okay here's the lineart- NO WAIT ANOTHER SKETCH. Who needs that many sketches you ask?? me I do. 

PRAISE THE HEAVENS finally the lineart. (size 8 brush) Cas is thinking about how they're going to do the frick frack on the bonnet later. Or maybe they already did. All the possibilities.  

FLATTTSS. Not worrying about whether the colours match the scene at this stage. I switched back and forth between photoshop and sai to take advantage of the PS textures for the jeans.  

Multiplied a light bluey/purple over all of the flats so it actually looks like they're in that environment, and shaded using another light blue on multiply
