People seem to like my hands, so, here’s my first "tutorial", tackling my approach on how to draw and construct hands! I hope to do more of these, and that next one will dive into hand gestures and applying it with this structure.

I love your art so much! There's such a charm in your style and colors. How did you learn to draw children and babies so well? I try but they never quite look right. They just look like I messed up an adult face. Any tips?
hey, thank you so much!!! tbh, children are tricky and it took years of practice before i felt like i drew them okay--hopefully these tips are helpful to you!
using georgia and her much younger self as a guide: children have big heads in relation to their bodies, with their features mostly relegated to 2/3 or even 1/2 of the face, depending on the art style. babies and toddlers in particular almost always have large foreheads and big cheeks, no matter what their individual features are.
my children tend to lean more cherubic and cartoonish because i've always adored how rose o'neill, the creator of kewpie dolls, drew children and babies. great big eyes, small noses and mouths, etc.
that being said: as you can see with georgia above, her younger self still has fuller lips and a wider nose, they're just small in proportion to the rest of her head, if that makes sense!
i would avoid any harsh lines/super definition on the face. i usually add a soft touch of shading or a few very, very light lines, usually to show the fullness of the cheeks like i've done with eloise above.
there are exceptions. sometimes my characters like wilma and all of her children have dimples or a particular way their eyebrow crinkles, or some other definable feature. all that is okay! but just know the more lines you add to a character, the older they look--so you want to use a lighter hand when drawing very young children or babies.
as children age, they "grow" into their facial features. their heads are usually still a bit bigger in proportion to their bodies, with a jawline that is beginning to define, but still relatively soft.
with ellen and leon below, you can tell they are several years older than eloise above, but not so old they begin to look like teenagers or mini adults.
overall, these are the tips that have stuck with me! because i like to give my ocs children or draw them as children, i make a point to dedicate time to figure drawing people of all ages, from babies to old folks, and it has helped a lot!! thanks for asking!! <3
how to bulk rename your cc files for faster loading times ✩°。𓋼𓏲⋆.
hey yall im sellin lipgloss excuse my hair.. OKAY HI GUYSSS i learned that when your cc has symbols such as ?/#]{:_ and just spaces between characters, it causes the game to take a bit longer due to the difficulty to register all of your cc because of the different characters involved.
SO i'm just here to show yall how exactly to do this because in my next sim download, my cc will be renamed differently, and i would very much prefer if you guys didn't add duplicates for the sake of your own time. you already know how annoying it is to go through the cc folder just to find them all (unless you're using simsweep, clean launcher, and/or the mod manager YAWPPP)
ok so first things first what you're going to want to do is download the bulk rename utility (press the underlined subject) it's a very quick download and once you do that, you're going to want to navigate to your cc folder, if your cc folder is in the exact location as mine it will be C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.
once you've navigated to the similar folder, you will see a whole bunch of selections down below (shown in the next photo).
what you are going to want to do to efficiently rename your files is go down to the remove category and copy the next image 🡓
when you've done this, drag and select all of your files, it should look like this 🡓
once you're set with all the files that needed to be renamed, you will want to press the rename button at the bottom right of the program 🡓
NOWWW everything should be renamed and hopefully you have lesser loading times. for me personally, my game used to take about (not even exaggerating) 30 minutes (i have like 250gbs of cc) but now i've noticed it's gone down to just about 15-20 minutes which is way better for me personally.
VERY IMPORTANT... do NOT rename any of your mods. you should only rename your cc!
always make sure to rename your cc before dropping things into your actual folder if you decide to use the bulk rename just to avoid any duplicates inside unless you don’t mind going into one of the programs i mentioned earlier to get rid of them!
and that's it!! i hope this tutorial was easy for everyone, please let me know if you need any assistance, my ask box is open or just comment below and i will get to you as soon as possible. MWAH x
Hello, and welcome to the long-awaited(at least on my part) digital stamp-making tutorial from neosprites! I’d like to preface that I learned what I was doing from this tutorial so it may be a bit redundant, but if anything I get a bit more specific. Thank you so much to @graphic--horde for your work, it changed me as a graphic maker. This is gunna be a long post so feel free to bookmark it for later. Now, onto the show!
The frame I will be using for this tutorial (which is the frame I use on 99.9% of my stamps) I found from the above linked post, which I believe is from a creator that OP lost track of. Its inner dimensions are 94x50 pixels and its outer dimensions are 99x56 pixels. Here it is!
Find your material! - I recommend using websites like Tumblr and searching with the “GIF” filter only on, or alternatives such as Giphy or Tenor. Your browser may let you directly save the .gif file; if not and you are noticing it restricts you to save it as a .webp file you can try an extension like “Save webp as PNG or JPEG” (for Firefox but I image other browsers have similar functions, but I really recommend you switch to Firefox). To use this you will right click on your source .gif like normal but instead of clicking on “Save image as…” click “Save webP as…” and then click “GIF”. You should be redirected to the website ezgif.com where we will actually be doing all of our editing! Here’s the .gif we’ll be working with.
Convert to GIF (optional) - if you used the extension from the above step you should already be ready to click the blue “Convert to GIF” button. If not, go ahead and open ezgif.com and click on “webP” and then “WebP to GIF”; then convert to a gif with the blue button.
Resize the GIF - now that we have a gif ready to edit, let’s make it the right size. The easiest method I have found is to change it directly to the frame’s inner dimensions, 94x50 pixels. [EDIT: Make sure in the aspect ratio drop drop menu you select "stretch to fit" and not "center and crop to fit" like I did in the photo example.] Click “resize” and then type [94] in for the width and [50] for the height. Next press the blue “resize image” button.
Add the frame - next click “overlay” then click the thin blue button that says “Extend canvas size(use if overlay exceeds GIF sizes)”. This will give us some extra room to add the frame onto the design. Next click “Browse…” and find the frame you have saved onto your device, then click the blue “Upload image” button.
After that it’s going to be misaligned, that’s normal! It will say you have the option to drag it into place, but don’t bother. That’s one of the reasons my old stamps look wack, it’s just harder to do. Instead type [44] in for the Left box and [22] in for the Right box. It took me a while to figure out these dimensions to be honest, and I’ve only tested it with this frame so I don't know if it works with others. Then click the blue “Generate image” button.
Crop the transparent edges - click on “crop”. You will have the option to check a box that says “trim transparent pixels around the image” however, I don’t recommend this as it tends to crop a few of the frame’s pixels with it sometimes. Next, set the Left position to [44] and the Right position to [22]. For the other dimensions we will use the outer dimensions of the frame which are 99x56 pixels, this will trim everything except the tiny spaces in between the stamp frame’s spikes. Type the width as [99] and the height as [56] and click the tiny blue button that says “set”. After that click the blue “Crop image” button.
Save and use! - all that's left is to click “save” and upload the graphic to your liking. (best seen on dark mode obviously)
If you’d like to tag me in stamps you’ve made using my tutorial I would love to see them, but it’s not required!! Make sure to always give credit for pictures/gifs when you can and try not to make stuff out of personal/fan art. Thank you to the person in my inbox who requested this tutorial, I had been meaning to for a while but it was just the kick I needed. :)

Hello! I've decided to make an updated tutorial on how I gif, since some of my giffing methods have changed since I made my first one (and this one is still valid, by the way! I've just changed a few things and I thought the update would be good.)
In this tutorial you'll find:
A download link for Photoshop CC 2020;
Step-by-step instructions on how to make gifs and color them;
A sharpening action for your gifs;
A base psd for gifs.
Get the tutorial here (just type 0 to get it for free, and if you'd like to support me, any amount is extremely appreciated).
I accept commissions for tutorials + support me on ko-fi?
Can you give some tutorials on how to/how you draw Pomni? I struggle with drawing her hat. XD
