Sum skechezzz. I wanna show some of Muffles personality :> The burrow is Muffles first home before that part of the forest burnt down.

Their current home at the base of a lemon tree is bigger and even has a door :O And by bigger I mean that there's the main chamber where they sleep and keep their trinkets which extends upwards further into the trunk than their old burrow did. This lets in more light during the winter when the base of the tree gets covered in snow and gives Muffle a better vantage point without having to leave the burrow. A portion of it goes deeper into the ground which is where food is kept whereas at their old burrow, they used to have to bury their cache outside. Having their cache inside their burrow means they don't have to plod around in the snow if they get hungry mid hibernation. Muffle technically has longish toes but the stubby lil kitty toes looked cuter :>
