Right then, here we go:
1. Favourite fanfic of all time? Ooh, I donât think I have one! I know thatâs such a cop out, but there are so many that are just brilliant for different reasons and moods (plus Iâm a flibbertigibbet and change my mind by the minute!).
But, there are some highlightsâŠ
The Weekend by this writer - I donât know if you know her? đ - is one that really stayed with me because of that ending. But then there are these unfinished fics that I went a bit feral over, like the Romeo & Juliet-inspired one by Kingadrianos thatâs so good and lives in my head rent-free. There was another one that was about 60 chapters long and then the writer deleted their ao3 profile and that will always be sad as weâll never get that Wilmon wedding đ
Ooh also! I loved Say a prayer for me so much and Iâll always have a soft spot for Thatâs what I really want because it was my first ever Wilmon fic.
No favourite of all time though. That feels like Iâm cheating on the other fics!
2. Favourite writer? Again, Iâm terrible and canât choose just one. I adore you, of course, @stretchoutfics đđ Your brand of teen horniness hooked me and your aged-up boys in The Road Not Taken was just brilliant. And @darktwistedgenderplural and @gulliblelemon are wonderful. @grapehyasynth and @in-amor-veritas are also my go-tos that I make sure Iâm subscribed to. When I stumbled across @earlgrey-lateatnight I remember spending the whole of the May bank holiday making my way through her fics - I donât think I did any parenting that weekend! And of course, thereâs the fabulous Chantel @ungaroyals. In Another Life was a bit of an obsession this year!
Sooo! No favourite, just lots of favourites đ„°đ„°
3. Oh now! Favourite classic fic. I can answer that one. We Left Footprints by @in-amor-veritas. Totally broke me. Had to have a time out so I could cry. The way Veri makes you feel sad for Wilmon, even though theyâre making terrible decisionsâŠugh. Itâs so heartbreaking. So very well written.
10. Smut recommendation! Ooh! The amount of smut Iâve read in the last year because of this show is wild!
Again, I tell everyone to read your fics @stretchoutfics. But also, @ungaroyals and Disruptedtheskyâs fics are đ„”
Thereâs some really fun smut in the Letâs Talk About Sex, Baby sex shop AU by @pagegirlintraining and @the-amber-fox. Cackled away at some of the antics they got up to in the palace.
The sex scenes in both Say a prayer and the mafia AU by Witchjeons are also đ„” and RubyIntyale - aka, @earlgrey-lateatnight- writes excellent smut too.
39. Trope Iâd like to see more of. Hmm. I canât get enough of oblivious fools being friends to lovers pining for each other. Chuck in a bit of fake dating and a few love rivals to really up the yearning and Iâm a happy Lolly!
