I. AM. FINALLY FINISHED WITH THIS, FINALLY!! This was originally for @yoipolyshipweek Day 6: Alternate Universe, specifically Soulmates ... back on June 24. OTL I, uh, very obviously ended up doing this too seriously but in the end I am very happy with the results, so I guess that’s ... okay ... (ALSO POLY SHIPS ALWAYS NEED MORE LOVE SO I HAD TO FINISH AND POST THIS NO MATTER WHAT.)
Soulmarks/soulmate marks!! In the form of flowers!!! These ships are very much my biases AHAH I am so sorry I don't have Yuri(o) and who I think would share soulmate marks with him but four was already too many to finish and let's face it I have an obvious Asian (coughsphichitandyuuricoughs) bias. (Sorry Otabek anddamnseunggiltoo I KNOW YOU'RE ALSO ASIAN(s) BUT.)
Uh it should be easy to figure out who's soulmates with whom because I made it a point to have all the marks visible as much as possible but I'll specify them and elaborate on what the flowers/plants are meant to be BECAUSE I PUT TOO MUCH FUCKING THOUGHT INTO IT OH FUCK.

First, the extensive notes! Listed by the order in which they were finished and their position in the drawing (left to right). Also uh, disclaimer: the meanings were only from Google-hopping flower meanings websites, I never work with flowers, and I apologise for any butchering I inadvertently did.
Chris/Viktor/Yuuri/Phichit or as I dub it Phictuuris!
The soulmarks pairs are:
Chris and Viktor: Blue rose for the impossible/unattainable.
Viktor and Yuuri: Blue peony for bravery/bashfulness/compassion.
Yuuri and Phichit: Daisy for innocence/loyal love/purity/faith/cheer/simplicity and arborvitae for unchanging, everlasting friendship.
Baaasically I just have all of Chris's flowers be roses and all of Viktor's be coloured blue. So the blue peony meaning was really only derived from the general meaning of peony.
Takeshi/Yuuri/Yuuko! CHILDHOOD FRIENDS SHIP, YO, MY FAVOURITE TROPE EVER. The layer folder name for this was takeyuuyuu but I now like Nishiguuri better as their ship portmanteau.
They're a closed triangle-- the soulmarks pairs are:
Takeshi and Yuuri: Dandelion for overcoming hardship and mayflower for welcome.
Yuuri and Yuuko: White and purple lilac for youthful innocence/memories and first emotion of love.
Takeshi and Yuuko: Blue hyacinth for sincerity.
Phichit/Chris/Mystery Man, or what is basically the ship of the flirts. Kind of. I think Mysterious Man is the straight man in this trio. (I don't ... have a specific name for him, sorry welp. Though if we go by the nickname (because I’m 99% sure he is not Japanese) Masumi their portmanteau can be Phichrismas.)
Another open-ended curve here; the soulmarks pairs are:
Phichit and Chris: Pink and yellow roses for admiration/joy/gratitude and friendship/caring.
Chris and Mystery Man: Red rose for love/deep emotions.
Leo/Phichit/Guang-Hong, the SNS trio!!! Their portmanteau is rather obvious: Leojichu.

Leo and Phichit: Red poppy for fun-loving.
Phichit and Guang-Hong: Four-leaf clover for good luck/promise.
Leo and Guang-Hong: Sunflower for pure thoughts/adoration/dedication/dedicated love.
NOW MORE OF MY RAMBLINGS:
I don't think anyone other than me cares but in this particular Soulmates AU not all soulmates are sexual and/or romantic so some of this may very well be wholly platonic but!! They can all be romantic too!!! They're poly ships after all. (Though ouch maintaining multiple long-distance international intimate relationships, ummm. Let's. Not think about that I cannot weave those intricacies very well if at all.) Also obviously people can have multiple soulmates. \o/
These were also highkey my practising male, muscled, naked forms. I still have such a long way to go, weep.
