Roman!

Of course Patton's relationship with Roman would be connected to the sun, right? I think when they're on good terms its the most stereotypical "good weather", kind of to signify their very strict views of good and bad. It's a bit over compensative almost. Because obviously if everything is good between them it should be all warm sun and pool parties!

When they're on bad terms though? Oh my. the heat in the room is too much, it's suffocating, sweating, hot. Nobody can talk through the heat. But they don't switch into something more suited for the weather, of course, because that would mean revealing more. That would mean admitting something is wrong, and things can't be wrong! They're supposed to be good.

Janus!

I think, similar to Roman, he is also connected to temperature with Patton, but in a different way. Janus and Patton's relationship brings cool breezes and calm springs, perfect weather to sit next to a pond and feed the ducks, or perhaps have a picnic! They can slow down and talk then, or just enjoy each other's company. All they could need is the sound of a river idly floating the resident frogs and fish by.

And onto the bad. The blizzards. They don't rage as you might expect, but they are so so cold. It creeps its way into the home in twisted shivers, but the most it does? It makes Janus and Patton so very tired. The Cold seeps its way into their bones and forces them to stop and think, for as long as it takes (and it does not take long), until they talk about what is pulling them apart. Slowly the cold will fade and the rivers start to run again... perfect weather for a picnic, right?

Remus!

When Patton and Remus get together to have fun, it's all over the place. So many ups and downs, how are they to pick just one state to be in when you could do so much more in all of them at once!?!?! They splash in puddles and make snowmen and build Sandcastles (well... Patton does, Remus just makes a bunch of phallic shapes to show Patton. It is unknown whether Patton can tell what they are and calls them snowmen/castles to protect himself or if he genuinely doesn't know and thinks Remus need a little help with his sand shaping and snowball rolling skills...) so much fun to be had when you're not confined to one thing!

The silence mostly existed when Patton didn't know Remus as much. When he was scared of him. Patton would tense up when he entered and every breeze, cloud, and ray of sun just stilled. He wasn't sure what was going to happen, who could predict Remus? So nothing did. Somehow the silence was scarier than anything Remus could conjure.

Logan!

The weather is simple with Logan. Calm, clear, normal. They don't have to say anything, just a silent admiration of that simplicity they fell into. Wake up, greet the other, exchange a pun and a cup of coffee with a new fact (usually about frogs) and a review of the schedule for the week, and go on with the day knowing the other is there. It was domestic, a bright blue hue shining from the sky onto them turning into a clear sky of a thousand stars. It was theirs.

The skies aren't as clear anymore, and sometimes it's hard to see anything past the clouds. Patton still makes coffee for Logan every morning, but he can't remember the last time he was given a new fact, not about frogs, not about anything. He can't remember the last time he looked at the stars with Logan. He should talk to him...

Virgil!

Misty and Rainy days are Virgil and Patton's calling card. Any day spent together is one spent inside and cozy, away from the world covered in haze. They are each other's comfort and warmth, gazing out the windows and drawing pictures on the condensated glass made by their breath, listening to the rain.

On bad days between the two, it's hard for Patton not to think of the stormy weather Virgil is synonymous with. His turmoil and sadness at their current state makes way for the pouring rain and thunderous cries outside, which only hurts him further. It isn't uncommon for a side to stumble on Patton and Virgil hugging or snuggling together after the storm starts to subside.
