Dude, you can't understand how much I want them to destroy themselves.

And I'll make them do it.

         blood  drips  steadily  down  the  front  of  will’s  chest,  standing  outside  of  the  shower  as  he  waits  for  the  water  to  warm  up.  the  blood  is  not  his,  it  never  really  is,  and  he  stares  vacantly  at  the  grimey  tile  wall  before  him.  stepping  into  the  shower,  a  guttural  groan  pulls  itself  from  the  back  of  his  throat  once  the  warmth  of  the  water  falls  over  him.  thick  crimson  liquid  is  washed  away  with  the  water,  pooling  at  his  feet  —  and  will  is  pulled  from  the  recesses  of  his  mind  when  the  shower  curtain  squeals  at  his  side,  and  a  body  steps  into  the  space  with  him.  

So I had to look up what this was, and uuuuuh, thanks anon because I finally have a word for that thing I do :,) so I totally feel you on this one and am ready to write! Also I went crush route with this because.... I dont have to explain myself

• When Habit first noticed you pick at your skin, he didn’t think much of it. Sometimes people got itchy. But then he noticed it’s frequency, and how sometimes it got worse when you were anxious or nervous. 

• He tried just calling you out at first, subtly. “Hey, stop that, its not good!” gentle nudges, but he wuickly started to realize that only frustrated you further. You KNEW it wasn’t good, and you wish you didnt’t have this impulse. 

• He learned to just, help in better ways. If you guys are sitting next to each other or are close to each other when you start picking he just gently reaches a hand up to take your hand in his. He does it slowly, so as not to spook you, and to give you the change to swat him away if you dont want to be touched. This helps a lot though because, it gives your hand somethign else to do. 

• If he can tell youre really just, god you just /gotta/ scratch man. He will use his free hand to gently rub the spot you were scratching, so that there is some sensation there. He doesn’t stop until he can feel you relax. He’ll also try to rub circles with his thumb on the hand he’s holding. Or maybe rub your back. Somewhere else to draw your attention away from the original source.
