         from  the  corner  of  his  eye,  he  can  see  movement  from  inside  the  room.  the  guitar  is  set  down  against  the  iron  railings,  will  lifting  his  attention  to  the  figure  now  standing  by  the  window  ;  an  arm  extending  through  to  offer  a  coffee  mug.  will  takes  it  graciously,  a  small  nod  given  to  hannibal  now  easing  down  into  the  loveseat  by  the  window.  the  empath  doesn’t  miss  the  slight  grimace  on  the  good  doctor’s  face  when  he  sits  down  ;  wounds,  both  physical  and  emotional  still  healing  in  their  turmoil.  both  of  them  shot,  stabbed,  punched,  battered  and  bruised  —  but  hey,  they’d  survived  at  least.  will  was  beginning  to  think  if  there  was  something  that  COULD  kill  them  or  if  they  were  just  insanely  lucky.  maybe  the  latter.  ❝  thank  you,  darlin’ .  ❞

      often  referred  to  as  JC,  jesse  carter  walters  is  a  louisiana  born  resident  that  grew  up  alongside  will  graham.  both  boys  raised  on  the  bayou,  the  two  were  inseperable  the  moment  they  met.  while  will  graham  was  one  to  keep  quiet  and  to  himself  growing  up,  much  more  content  to  observe  and  stay  out  of  people’s  sight,  jesse  was  a  comfortable,  contrasting  opposite.  jesse  went  on  to  accompany  will  to  college,  majoring  in  marine  biology  and  even  living  with  him  for  awhile.  when  the  two  finished  school,  will  found  himself  on  the  force  and  drifting  away  from  jesse.  when  he  finally  settled  into  wolftrap,  jesse  was  a  fleeting  memory  ;  a  star  always  on  the  move,  his  job  carrying  him  from  ocean  to  ocean,  there  was  no  more  room  for  will  to  fit  into  his  life,  no  matter  how  much  the  young  men  tried.  it’s  now  been  about  a  bittersweet  three  years  since  the  last  time  will  has  spoken  to  jesse  face  to  face,  and  only  a  handful  amount  of  times  that  will  has  spoken  to  him  on  the  phone.
