Inktober: Bait
Had way too much fun drawing this one, haha
This my Tierlist based on my personal Skill of Ionian Champs. Perhaps I will do also a list for other regions ^_^ I would like to see also your Tier list :3
Drifting slowly in infinite darkness, the dark cosmic being was experiencing the grey sensation of boredom. All of his creations had turned out perfect, as expected, but recently the artist was incapable of finding the motivation needed to create something new. The ever-burning star shined brightly above his head as he continued to stare blankly into oblivion. Blinking, Jhin wondered why he lacked imagination. Was he losing his touch?
Don’t be absurd, of course not! The artist just needed something new.
Something special.
Question was where to find it.
.
..
…
….
Turning his head, Jhin spots galaxies far away. Planets bursting with greenery, life and great diversity.
Ah, that’s right.
Mortals.
Fragile, selfish, greedy and hopeless beings they all are, knowing nothing of the reality of things. Still, there were times when they did indeed surprise the cosmic entity, and perhaps that was what’s needed for the artist to regain his inspiration?
Truth be told, it wasn’t really that rare for Jhin to walk amongst mortals. Space was beautifully endless and silent, yes, but when needing a new form of perception, Jhin sometimes did observe the ones of flesh and blood. Now, the artist’s great size was reduced and compact, his cosmic shape and galactic powers neatly hidden within a humanoid shell with the help of magic.
Looking like nothing more but a human man, Jhin was rather unused of only using two of his four arms, but he made it work. One of his eyes grey and dull, while his other sparked with stunning colors and energy. The artist’s cranium was dressed with a double side-cut along with a black mane following his head. His skin pale and almost shimmering in astronomical colors at times when he wasn’t able to contain his true form. The artist drew attention to himself wherever he went, but that wasn’t surprising. If not for Jhin’s good looks, then it was probably due to his own powerful aura that caused curious reactions.
For months he had walked together with the mortals, traveled in their cities, watching their all-daily life.
And yet he didn’t finding anything that excited him.
Until one day, when he had been drawn to an energy source, strong and ancient… doubtlessly Ora. It was coming from one of the larger ships that docked by one of the busy, floating ports.
Jhin had given the ship’s captain an offer in gold that he simply couldn’t resist, resulting with the artist having free access to the ship called Morning Star. Jhin hadn’t given away his true intentions, of course, but none asked him about it either. Which, to be fair, might be due to the reason that the ship’s crew almost jumped their captain when they heard how much money the stranger had offered them for simply allowing him to join them during their voyages.
Jhin could only describe the captain’s crew as… utterly strange.
The orange haired woman, named Jinx, was far too energetic for the artist’s taste and the huge, blue Xenotype could only be described as dumb. Not to mention the tiny critter that runs around and seemed obsessed with explosives.
Then there was the silent Templar, Sona. If she only knew how close danger lured. Or maybe she did? The careful and suspicious gazes she gave him at times sure made Jhin wonder. But Sona knew better than to accuse the one who more or less payed for their entire salary. The Ora orb was more than inviting, but Jhin stilled himself. Grasping the artifact here and now was too easy, and the cosmic artist was still looking for a flare to ignite his own inner spark. Besides, wherever they went, so did he, which also meant that the golden orb would remain within his reach if he so desired it.
Standing in his private room, Jhin stares out through the grand window, lost in thoughts.
“Cruel and cold…” he croons, itching to correct the visible errors that reflected in this galaxy as they glided further away from yet another planet that they had gathered resources from.
