11. What scene are you most hyped for this chapter/fic? AaaaaHhhh I’m so excited to work on Wingspan, my Ciri and Saskia sisters AU. I last worked on this like two months ago but my life got turned upside down and I haven't added to it since. Okay, not only are Ciri and Saskia gonna telepathically bond, but they’re gonna be able to roughhouse and play and learn how to fight as partners, too. I don’t have that part written yet but I hope I can make it as amazing as it is in my head. Ciri leaping from great heights and Saskia catching her and dropping her into the courtyard to ambush their uncles.
Here’s a brief snippet I started about Ciri’s arrival in Kaer Morhen…
The warmth of the great hall was thawing Ciri’s fingers and toes but an uncertainty lingered, like pins and needles in the back of her mind. Kaer Morhen had the benefit of being remote and secluded, difficult to find without help. Geralt told her she would be safe here. She wanted to believe him.
Geralt made his introductions: three witchers—Eskel, Lambert, and Vesemir—and Ciri greeted each in turn.
“Another one?” Eskel asked. He sounded skeptical, but there was soft humor in his scarred features.
“I had to,” Geralt said.
“At this rate we’re going to have enough for a new cohort,” Lambert said and Eskel snorted.
“Another what?” Ciri asked.
“You’re not the first stray Geralt’s brought home,” Eskel said and clapped Geralt on the shoulder.
“I’m not?” Ciri asked.
“First you bring home an egg, then a princess. What’s next, a baby doppler?” Lambert asked.
“You’ll meet Saesenthessis soon enough,” Geralt said. “Let’s get you settled first.”

haha that's how it always starts!! and there are so many sweet idiots in there mostly jannik and carlos who went through multiple friendship, divorce, rekindling the friendship and now suddenly honeymoon phases that you don't really have to care about tennis at all (apart from the fact that they're each other's biggest rival and want to win but at the same time love each other which is just too perfect)!
