Aw, thank you so much! This is kind of my comfort fic, I come back and add like 50 words at a time :D

It's pre-series - Arthur gets death threats, so Uther wants him out of danger, and Gaius suggests he goes to stay in Ealdor. And then obviously (for me) it's a Merthur fic, full of hopeless farmer!Arthur who ends up learning from Merlin and turning into a decent person a bit earlier than in canon. A snippet...

“Call it what you want,” he says. “Gaius uses many herbs, you could call him a herbalist.” The smile is back, and Arthur relaxes, letting himself fall back in the soft grass. He crosses his hands under his head. “Where will you go to learn?”

Merlin snorts. “Arthur, are you saying you haven’t noticed that my mother is a… physician?”

That’s not true. There are no bubbling potions or old books dotted around the cottage. None of the funny smells that Gaius’ chamber emits. Not to mention the obvious problem. “She-”

81. What books influenced you most as a child?

Oh I'll have to go with two, here! One is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which is just. an amazing book. And the second one is the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke, which I adored.

89. What’s one thing you want to achieve this year?

I agree, it's great this close to the end of the year! By now, I mostly want to make it through the last week of uni before the short break, and finish my current writing project/hit my word count goal that I'm just 20k words shy of!

3. Do you write fics from start or finish, or jump around?

Im terrible i jump around, like i spit out the first scene that comes to mind, write from there forwards till i run out of steam and then i go in and bullet point the rest of it, then as i write the rest of it i just go fill in whichever bullet points i vibe with lol till it’s done

8. Do you listen to music while you write? If so, share a song that’s been inspiring you lately.

Usually yes, recently it’s been the outlander version of the Skye Boat Song lol i tend to listen to one song on repeat like for hours lol that or asmr

none i hate having to use words to write. if it gets to the point it’s becoming a favourite word means im overusing it lol.

How I feel about this character

lol i uh dont care for him loads? the first epiosde i found him interesting, but like the story just hhhh it didnt go where i wanted it to go so by the end i was a bit let down by him? he is handsome and charming though and i like that! not active dislike but he’s not in my top ten lol

All the people I ship romantically with this character

violetta but only bc it’s canon she deserved so much more than him lol, and morse/ludo makes morse sense bc they’re perfect for each other, but also violetta/morse/ludo is.... excellent content. i think all the fan stuff is infinitely better than canon 

My non-romantic OTP for this character

imagine a world where jim and ludo became friends. jim and ludo sipping wine gossiping about morse. jim and ludo going out for dinner. idk sounds hilarious to me lol

My unpopular opinion about this character

idk if this is unpopular but like, he should have died before violetta. she should have killed him, morse can still have his tragic lover dying in his arms and she escapes into the night, like that would have been better lol

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
