Headcanons: Being Ferris Bueller's sibling and dating Cameron Frye
MASTERLIST | AO3
Relationship(s): Cameron Frye x gn!Bueller!reader (romantic) Ferris Bueller x gn!sibling!reader (familial); Jeanie Bueller x gn!sibling!reader (familial)
Warnings: I didn't really proofread this one too meticulously. (Let me know if I need to add any)
(A/N: I've wanted to write some variation of this for years now, but for some reason I'm only just getting around to it. If you'd like any more fics with this premise of Cam dating Ferris' sibling, let me know! I don't have any ideas myself but if you have a specific idea I'd be happy to give it a go.)
Pre-relationship
The kid sibling falling for their brother’s best friend is such a cliché, but it’s a tale as old as time for a reason.
Ferris knows long before you do that Cameron likes you.
And, of course, he knows long before Cameron does that you like him.
Jeanie teasingly calls Cameron your boyfriend long before you admit your feelings for one another, much to your embarrassment.
She even makes comments about it in front of him, but he’s always assumed that she’s messing with him.
Ferris has far more subtlety than Jeanie, but, despite Jeanie’s contempt for Ferris, making fun of you and Cameron for your crushes is something that brings them together.
For as long as you can remember, Cameron’s always been shy around you.
You’ve always been a little shy around him, too.
But, over the years, you’ve each had bold moments in which these nerves have been bypassed, giving you a glimpse into one another’s personalities without the shyness as a factor.
Sometimes, Cameron will stop by when Ferris isn’t home with hopes of spending some time with you while he waits.
Ferris often invites you to hang out with him, Sloane and Cameron, making the excuse that he doesn’t want Cameron to feel like the third wheel. Yeah, right.
Of course, with Cameron being the way that he is and with you being the way that you are, you spend the better part of two decades fruitlessly pining after one another until either one of you makes a move.
His day off with Ferris and Sloane is what pushes him to tell you how he feels.
Of course, he doesn’t need Ferris’ permission to ask you out, nor is it up to Ferris whether you say yes, but he makes sure that Ferris is okay with it.
Which, of course he is.
He wants you both to be happy and he trusts Cameron to be good to you.
His one stipulation? Don’t make out in front of him.
He doesn’t need to see that.
When you get together
Ferris takes the opportunity to do a facetious protective brother speech, because of course he does.
I’d like to think that Jeanie is skeptical enough of Cam to privately threaten him with full seriousness.
She tells him that she doesn’t care that he’s Ferris’ best friend; she’ll ‘get him’ if he ever does wrong by you.
It kinda freaks him out, if he’s being honest.
She’ll regularly ask you about how your relationship is going, both because she’s nosy and because she cares about you.
To begin with, Cameron is very very self-conscious about PDA in front of your brother.
It feels awkward and weird.
Sure, Ferris, who isn’t bothered by it, has to tell Cam that he doesn’t mind if he gives you a peck on the cheek or puts his arms around you or something.
But, after giving Cam that reassurance, Ferris will jokingly make gagging noises whenever you show one another affection in front of him.
If/when you and Cameron fight and you’re taking a while to make up, Ferris insists on playing the mediator.
Depending on who he favours that day, Ferris jokes about who he’ll pick if you guys break up.
(Of course, he prays that you guys stay together, in part so there’s no uncomfortable fallout involving two of the people he’s closest to)
Jeanie is almost always on your side in fights, often to spite Cam and Ferris.
If she ever does stick up for Cameron, you know you’ve done something wrong.
When it comes to certain things in the relationship, Cameron absolutely doesn’t want to ask Ferris for advice because Ferris probably doesn’t want some intimate information about what Cameron is doing to/with you.
So, he’ll have to consult Sloane, who’s more than happy to help and promises not to pass any information onto Ferris.
Typically, though, Ferris tends to be the first person you tell when you have big news (when you’ve decided to move in together, if you get engaged etc.)
As much as he teasingly tells you how cute you guys are together, he is happy for you both.
Jeanie is, too.
At least, she’s happy that you’re happy.
Even if she heavily implies with everything that she does and says that she thinks you’re too good for Cam.
You assure Cameron that she’s probably joking.
But, you both know she probably isn’t.
At least Ferris thinks you guys make a good couple.

An: Not having a good time mentally, so here is a depression vent fic with a comfort.
Summary: Snow has a sibling whose mind is always against them, but it's one that she learns to adapt to rather than abandon.
Snow was named due to when she was born, you were given a name that your parents preferred.
The Kingdome was beautiful. Kind. It was, you could never deny.
But it never fully felt yours.
You always felt out of place. Everyone was happy and hopeful.
You were happy, or tried to be, but less hopeful.
You hated that you were like this. You had a loving parents and sister. But you felt...empty.
Snow noticed it, always including you and making sure to spend time with you.
While you appreciated it, it only made you feel like a burden more.
Your parents also did what they could. Passing on that kindness to you and making you feel loved.
You knew you were, yet your mind never let you fully believe it.
Then, everything collapsed. The Evil Queen came, and you and Snow were locked from the people.
It only made you spiral more.
You did your duties, keeping your head down.
To the Queen, you were just there. You did your bits, didn't cause a fuss.
To Snow, it only added to her concern.
"I'm here, (your name). Always."
You knew she was. You did, truly. Not just because you were separated from the others, but in her loyalty.
She visits you one day, a bit later than usual.
"I saw someone," she says, always being the one to see the Queen instead of you.
Her taking on that burden does not help your headspace.
"The Queen thought him a thief. Which, in truth, I guess he was. But...her cruelness, (your name)...it hurts."
"There is nothing we can do, Snow."
"Don't say that," she said, heartbroken on your behalf, "there is always hope. Even in a world like ours."
You nodded, even if you didn't believe her.
She could tell that you didn't, but let her flame of hope burn bright in the absence of yours.
What she never did, however, was judge you.
The Queen did that enough. Snow had kept her mouth closed, but always burned with defense when you came up.
The Queen constantly belittled you, but also wished Snow was more like you: quiet, compromised, "dutiful".
Dissent was evil, in the Queen's eyes.
But still, if she was going to get rid of Snow, to fully be beautiful, you would have to go to -- to have no one left for the crown; and to have no one to rise up against her.
On the walk, your first experience of being outside, you feel the warmth of the sun, and it helps a small bit.
Snow, with energy to spare, darted up the hill, collecting apples and appreciating the area around her.
She handed you one, "for you," she said, smile soft.
It was also a silent promise: to stand side by side.
The Huntsman drew his blade. Snow was in front of you instantly, hand keeping you behind her.
The Huntsman, shaken by her kindness -- along with the fact of you being mere children -- caused him to spare you.
Snow grabbed your hand, and you were in the forest.
The first twisted and distorted. Branches attacking you, and the whole thing seemingly closing in with a red light taking over the once warm sun.
Snow and you kept your hands entwined, even when you fell.
Snow found herself trapped, vines wrapping around her limbs.
With what little air you had left, you helped free your sister.
She dragged you out. Your body having gone limp, using what air you had left to help her.
A deer approached, one that seemed to sense Snow's worry, gently nudging your head.
"Come back," she begged, "come back to me. Please."
You sputtered out water as response.
"Thank goodness!" She said, eyes stinging with tears.
You continued coughing.
"While I'm grateful for your assistance," Snow started, hand on your back, "your wellbeing matters as well, (your name)."
" The kingdom needs you, Snow."
Her eyes hardened, becoming hurt on your behalf.
"And I need you."
It was the first time she had been direct. It took you by surprise.
This near death and escape changed things. Something shifted.
You looked to the deer, seeing it now it's head in greeting and seemingly wait for you to follow.
You did.
You found a cottage.
"Let me go first," Snow said.
It was empty. Or, at least abandoned.
You found a bed, Snow not waiting until you got into your own first.
"I won't break, Snow."
"I know," she said in a gentle tone, "good night."
You registered the birds helping you with your blanket.
You could do it on your own. No one thought you capable.
Your thoughts deemed you a burden again, even after saving your sister.
Disorientated, you woke up to screams.
Snow was talking to Dwarfs, stood in front of your bed.
"Who are they?" You asked, slowly getting up.
"The people who own this home."
"Oh..." Your tone was gentle.
"Your sister says you will leave in the morning," the grumpy one of them said.
"You look like you could use some rest," the one with glasses said.
"We didn't mean to intrude," you said.
"Oh, we know," the one with glasses said, "you didn't mean us ill, child."
Forgiveness, that was rare.
Your mind didn't completely chide you for once.
You didn't see, but Snow noticed it, her eyes softening.
You slept in, Snow going downstairs and helping the crew clean the place. Even helping Dopey whistle.
"What's this?" You asked, looking down at them all.
Snow looked up, smile beaming, "good morning."
"More like afternoon," one of the Dwarfs said.
"Grumpy," Snow admonished in a firm, yet still gentle tone.
"Look at what we did together, (your name)!" Snow said as you came downstairs, "just imagine what we can do with the kingdom! Just think about it."
"I do," you admitted.
Her eyes sparkles, hand clenching yours, "even better!" She exclaimed, bringing a small smile from you, "we can make that world a reality! One where people live in peace, not fear and --"
"It's a nice dream, Snow," you said gently, "but, even if we survive the Queen it...I don't know."
Snow titled her head, "a better tomorrow can always exist."
You didn't answer, eyes going down.
"A promise is a promise," you said to the dwarfs, "thank you for letting us stay. We..." You looked to Snow, getting a read on your next move, "will find out father. Maybe he can fix this for us all."
"Anytime, child," Doc (as you would come to learn) told you, "you're welcome with us anytime, for your safety."
It warmed you, that he even offered it to you.
You looked to your sister, and the pair of you shared a nod.
You went on your way, not with any direction, but only a goal: find your father, and fix this.
You wanted to fix all this, get rid of the Queen -- but it was the other bit that made you hesitate: Snow's dream of a better tomorrow for all.
Your father went to war, so it proved that there was never fully a full chance of it completely healing.
"What is on your mind?" Snow asked.
"I want us to be free," you said to Snow, "I just...I'm scared of what comes after. That vacuum."
"Father will fill it."
"But...what if it happens again? What if he finds someone else who whispers poison into his ear?"
She paused, putting a hand on your shoulder, "then we will act. That is our most powerful weapon: action. Just as I do for when your mind whispers ill thoughts about yourself."
"But I don't...I don't help you --"
"You do," she said, putting her hands on your shoulders, "you stand by me. You offer me conversation and friendship. It may be small to you, but please never think that it is insignificant. All action is good. It helps keep me going."
You were about to respond, when the birds warned you, chirping. The Queen was looking for you.
You both ran again, but Snow found herself being taken away, hand over her mouth. Only to see the person from earlier.
"(Your name)..." she whispered, looking.
A squirrel went in front of you, meeting your eyes, before darting behind a tree.
You followed your furry friend, just dodging the Queen's guard.
"Oh," the mysterious man said, "I didn't know that there were two of you."
Snow, once making sure that you were all in the clear, got up and approached you.
She paused, however, as she saw you giving the squirrel some pets. It then ran up your shoulder.
You laughed. A sound she had not heard in a long time.
"That is because," she said, turning back to him, "my sibling prefers the background."
"Not much to accomplish there."
You looked over at that, stung.
"I mean no offense," he said, hands going up, "but, why be in the back, in your little castle, when you could be making it easier for folks like us?"
You got up, smile gone, barging past him: "if only we had that power."
Snow and he had their debate about their willingness to try for a new world and their clashing perspectives.
"Your sibling has the right idea," he snarked.
She hardened, "my siblings fights battles that would make men like you cower."
His friends then brought you over, but Jonathan -- another name you would come to learn -- assured that you are not a threat.
You look at them all. Different in their own ways, but together.
"You know," Jonathan said, "if you didn't want the castle," he looked to you, "you could always come with us. Live a life of freedom."
"Where my sister goes," you said, looking him dead in the eye, "I go."
Snow was touched by your loyalty.
"Just like wherever you go," you pointed to his friends, "they go. No matter what."
"I knew you had a fight in you," he said, smiling, "but, what if she leads you towards nothing but your own demise? Will you not speak out?"
"My opinion doesn't matter," his eyebrows furrowed, "I trust Snow."
"Trust yourself first, sparky."
The Queen's guard caught up to you.
You dragged Snow to cover.
The trust you had in her, she now asked that Jonathan and co had it.
They agreed that they would, at least for now.
Snow looked at you, and you nodded. She would go on her own, you would stay.
You helped, being able to use some rocks to fend off the guard.
You couldn't stop Jonathan from taking an arrow, however.
You were able to get out of there. For a first bit in combat, you held yourself. At least, that was what Jonathan's friends said.
Snow, worried about Jonathan at first, then saw you alive and well, and brought you into a hug.
"Are you hurt?"
You shook your head, tightening the hug.
She pulled away, cupping your face, "How is your head?"
"Oddly lighter," you said, with a smile, "still cloudy...but not as much."
She smiled, "I'm glad."
Jonathan was able to be revived. And, as Snow said when they all started to argue, unity was formed.
Maybe there was hope for you and the kingdom after all.
You all let yourself celebrate, you finding yourself bonding with Dopey and whistling and dancing together.
Doc, however, took you aside, "I couldn't help buit think about your expression before you left. How long have you struggled with your mind, child?"
It took you back, someone directly asking, "oh...all my life, I suppose."
He softened in sympathy, "no one should live like that."
"We shouldn't live under the Queen's oppressive rule," you said, "but we do.
"Some days are harder," you admitted, "but...I just get through them."
"You should be allowed to do more than just that."
"Maybe," you conceded, "but, I help Snow find our father and fix this first, then we can worry about me."
"That's no way that someone should live their own life," you looked at him in confusion, "in second place to someone else. Your mind is one that isn't kind, and you don't deserve that.
"I know that it is easier said then done. Trust me, I have met many a person who has struggled...but, one thing that I do know, is that they all deserve help when they need it."
"I don't --" you played with your fingers, being open for the first time, "I don't want to drag anyone down."
"You're only dragging yourself down, child," Doc said, "and it sounds like that you have been your whole life. I meant what I said, you deserve shelter."
"I don't know where to start."
"First step: asking for what you need."
You took a shaky breath, "ok."
He smiled softly before going back to the group.
"You know," Jonathan said, coming and sitting next to you, "I meant what I said about my offer; especially after how well you handled yourself back there."
You snorted, "I just threw some rocks."
"What you did," he argued, "was you stopped that arrow being fatal."
You didn't realise that.
He offered you his cup, "you have people now, here with you. You're not alone. We won't let that darkness take you."
This stranger, now turned ally, and his words touched you.
The cloud in your mind was still there, but now there was something else in there as well.
A chorus against it. Not loud enough to drown out the darkness, but something else.
You and Snow awoke the next morning. Jonathan and company having gone to both try find your father and also draw away the Queen's Guard.
The Dwarfs had offered their place as the best place of protection.
"You enjoyed yourself last night," you teased your sister.
She chuckled, "I did," she confessed, "Jonathan is...Jonathan."
She then softened, "I saw that you had a nice evening as well."
You nodded, "I did."
"(Your name)," Snow said, moving towards you, "I don't mean to treata you like glass. It's just...you're my sibling, and I hate seeing you hurting. It is not a battle that I can fight for you...and I think that --"
A knock at the door made you pause.
Snow herself her hand up, going to it and answering.
As she left, her hand was held out: don't folllow.
A few moments went passed, before you went out.
She was on the floor, apple next to her.
Whoever had knocked on the door had disappeared.
You ran to her, shaking her.
She didn't stir.
"No. No, no, no, no --" you couldn't finish before the tears overflowed.
The Dwarfs found you. Grumpy held you back as the others moved Snow to a resting place.
They let you be next to Snow, holding her hand.
"It should have been me," you said, clutching her hand, "I should -- I should have --"
"No, child," Doc said, hand going on your shoulder, "it would have just been Snow being where you are instead."
You didn't answer, you just sobbed more.
Jonathan arrived. You apologised, over and over again. He held you, assuring you that you were not to blame, before going to Snow.
Dopey held onto your hand as you broke.
You did this. You were too weak. Too --
Snow took a gasp.
Dopey squeezed your hand: he had heard it, too.
Snow said her hello to Jonathan in terms of a kiss.
She then looked to you.
You went to her, arms going around her.
"You didn't fail me," she promised, as if she could tell your thoughts.
"I'm sorry --"
"Nonsense," she said, pulling back, "I did what I did to protect you. You would have done the same for me. If it had been you, I would have been where you are.
"I can't fight your thoughts for you. But, what I can do -- is do what you have done for me and stand by you during those hard times. Side by side, as equals."
Snow petals fall. Dopey talks. You aren't hiding anymore.
Your father isn't coming. You have to hold the line.
So, keeping to your promises, you both walked, side by side, into the kingdom.
The people recognised you, standing with you.
You reached the castle gates.
You recognised the guards. People who used to be common folk, now changed into guards with spears who could hurt others when in a previous life they never would.
That knowledge. That kindness. It slowly worked.
The Queen, in a last-ditch effort, looked to you, "you," she snarled, "you now choose to show yourself? Corrupting my men?! I should have killed you a long time ago. I should have --"
"I've always been here," you said, "you just chose to see me now."
"You worthless --"
"My sibling is far from worthless," Snow said, voice strong.
"I'm sorry for whatever battle you fight inside," you said, voice soft, "you don't deserve to. But, you also don't deserve to use it to hurt others."
The Queen, out of options, ran deeper into the castle.
You and Snow followed, watching as the Queen's own desires and issues made her become trapped in the mirror.

The Only Teenage Bitch Worth My Time (Jotaro x Sister!Reader)
(I literally wrote this for my English final exam- But obviously modified and without cursing.)
(Y/n) had always been the star child; not one instance in her life had her intellectual potential been questioned by anyone in her family. Alas, this was one of those moments in which she felt like she didn't deserve to be the gifted child of the Joestar family.
Her brother, Jotaro, was as clever and quick-thinking as her, yet he was treated as intellectually challenged because of his demeanor. He was a rude teenager in his junior year that simply walked around acting like he didn't care about anything. He could walk into a restaurant and if he didn't like the food, he would refuse to pay no matter what. If you were to ask him for his opinion on how you looked, if he didn't like it, he would tell you his opinion straight up. No sugar coating, no nice little words; a simple "You look stupid." would suffice. Not to mention he didn't seem to respect his mother.
(Y/n) tried her best to appease her adoptive mother, Holly. But Jotaro? Oh, he didn't care about respect. He would talk back to her, go out and leave her to worry until he returned hours after his curfew. Yet, for some reason, their mother never scolded him. It was like she didn't even care about all that. She would let anything slide so easily. It baffled her to an impossible extent.
Yet, she knew there was more to him than that. (Y/n) seemed to be the only person he actually cared to talk to. She found it odd at first but eventually stopped asking herself why.
Jotaro would tell her about how annoying it is to walk to school and instantly be swarmed by his annoying fangirls. And with all honesty, (Y/n) felt the same way when she saw all those girls literally push her away from walking with her brother to school.
It wasn't soon until (Y/n) picked up a few delinquent habits from Jotaro, though. They were walking down the pavement as (Y/n) spoke to Jotaro, "Hey, you think I'm gonna do good in that science fair? The top prize is 148000¥!". In her hands, he held her science fair project. A small homemade printer she had been working on for months.
"You're pretty smart, I think you'll give those other nerds something to be scared about," Jotaro mumbled.
"You think you can help me set it up in the gym?" She asked smiling at him softly.
And just before he could respond, the stampede of girls ran towards them. They pushed around to be able to bother Jotaro. And when they did, one of them pushed (Y/n) out of the way, causing her to drop her project.
And that's when it happened. She balled up her fists in anger and punched the girl in the face.
Jotaro looked at her, taken aback by his sister's actions. Then he chuckled, pulled the brim of his black hat down to his face, and mumbled a proud, "Good grief." With that, he continued walking. Leaving (Y/n) alone to be caught and sent to detention, which eventually led to her being suspended for a week.
So that was exactly why she was sitting in the middle of her living room right now.
"Why'd it have to be today of all days..." she thought to herself. The reason being that her father, Sadao, came back from his Jazz tour that same day to go support her in the Science fair.
She looked around, wondering if there was anything she could do while she waited. Eventually, she decided to change out of her school uniform. Making her way to her room and changing her Japanese uniform with something that accommodated more to her Italian fashion desires.
She fixed her (H/c) hair and adjusted her (F/c) dress. Though, just as she was sliding on her boots, she heard a car in the driveway.
"Oh shoot-" she exclaimed, running out into the living room. She knew darn well that her mom had already informed her dad of her suspension. So playing it off was no option.
Her father stepped out of the car and hugged her mom. As soon as he saw him walk towards the house, she knew she was fucked.
"(Y/n), I would like to have a word with you young lady," he announced, not wasting a single second after entering through the front door.
"Yes sir." She gulped. She slowly walked towards him, already regretting what she had done earlier that day.
Her father sat down on the couch and patted the space next to him, signaling her to sit down. Once she did as instructed, her father sighed.
"(Y/n), your mother informed me of what happened in school today. Why did you do that?" he asked calmly.
(Y/n) grew nervous. She was too scared to lie to him, but would he be mad at the truth? She just knew he would, but she honestly had no choice, did she?
"I... I just hate it when all those girls crowd around Jotaro. He doesn't even want all that attention! But you know what just infuriated me?! They are constantly pushing through me to get to him! They made me drop my project! And- and you know what's worse?! I CAN'T EVEN ENJOY A SMALL WALK WITH MY OWN BROTHER! And I just thought, 'Ok, what would Jotaro do if he was as mad as I am?' And well... I don't want to excuse my actions... but it just... happened." She ranted, her voice trailing off at the end.
"I see, you were angry about a situation you constantly find yourself feeling helpless in, so you decided to strike at it as you've seen Jotaro do when he's in a problem." He spoke, attempting to understand what she meant.
"Well... he only reacts like that when someone makes him mad, so yes." She mumbled back.
"See, sweetheart, the past few years, I've seen that Jotaro looked at you as too perfect to even try to be like you. And now I see that in your own way, you see Jotaro as stronger than you. Perhaps more courageous? You have found a hidden nobility inside of him. A resilience that he doesn't even show us. And I know you admire it so much, that you wish you had the capability to be as carefree and careless as he is." Sadao commented.
"I... I guess you're right." (Y/n) admitted.
"Whether you see it or not, you two make a great duo because you're what the other wished they were. I'm not saying it wasn't wrong that you punched that girl in the face, but I'm saying that you should try to channel that newfound courage into... less violent things." He suggested.
"Just go where destiny guides you my cherry blossom," Holly added as she walked by them on her way to the kitchen.
"I'll take this as permission to be mean to people, verbally."
"Take it as you will, just don't get yourself into any more trouble, ok kid?" He clarified.
"Yes sir!" She cheered.
Sadao got up from the couch, he was about to leave the living room, when he stopped in his tracks and turned to see his daughter once again, "Oh and (Y/n)."
"Yes, Papa?"
"You're grounded."
"Awww! What about the science fair?" She asked.
"Well, you have a project to fix." He reassured her, letting her know he was still going to take her.
"Can I at least pick Jotaro up from school?" You asked.
"Yes, but remember the conversation we had, (Y/n)." He responded as he walked into the kitchen.
(Y/n) nodded at him, as she walked outside and laid on the grass. As she looked at the clouds. She really wished Jotaro had come to get her out of detention. Or had at least snuck her out of school for one of his smoking sessions before she got caught. Obviously, (Y/n) herself didn't smoke, so she really was just gonna sit there and maybe even snack on something while they both had a sensible conversation.
That's where she got an idea: Jotaro was probably skipping class to smoke right now, and she had nothing to do, so she thought sneaking out of the house to hang out with him wasn't a bad idea. So she went back into the house and walked into the kitchen where her parents were talking to each other.
"Hey mom, dad, I think I'm gonna go take a nap until Jotaro is out of school." She announced.
"Alright honey, just let me know If you want anything, ok?" Holly smiled as she kissed her cheek.
(Y/n) went into her room and got a small backpack full of snacks. Slowly, she opened the door back up and ran out into the yard and out of the house's territory. Then she ran towards the school.
Once she got there, she looked around for Jotaro. As always, she found him sitting on the bleachers, cigarette in hand and black hat covering his eyes. (Y/n) made her way towards him, climbing up the bleachers and sitting next to him on the top seats.
He slowly turned to her, and chuckled, "Weren't you in detention?"
"I was suspended you jackass." She responded.
"Oh, well that sounds bad for your permanent record," he spoke softly, taking a puff of his cigarette.
"Yeah... it was worth it though, those bitches have been getting on my nerves for some time now." She shrugged, taking a bag of chips out of her backpack.
"Really? Is it because they always push you around," he asked casually.
"Well, that's part of the issue... but mostly it's because I hate how they just won't leave you alone. It's like every hint you throw at them completely misses them! I mean, you literally call them bitches in their stupid faces!" (Y/n) complained.
"Yeah, it's pretty damn annoying..." he mumbled softly.
He didn't want to actually thank her for getting him out of that situation; it would ruin the careless delinquent image he'd worked so hard to build. But he saw his sister's sweet gesture as the only reason why she was the only teenage bitch worth his time.
And even though he didn't say it, (Y/n) knew damn well that he was thanking her from the bottom of his heart with that response.
"So, you want to help me fix my printer before the fair? I promise I'll let you use it." (Y/n) asked.
"Sure, it starts at 10, doesn't it?"
"Yeah, I'm sure that if you help me we can get it done by 9:30." She spoke.
"But you have to tell me what to do, or else I'll probably fuck it up," he responded.
"Don't worry, I'll tell you, little Joot!" (Y/n) said as she pulled down his hat.
"Don't call me that you bitch." He turned away, hiding the embarrassed blush on his face.
"Come on little bro..." She pouted playfully.
Jotaro sighed, "I'm not your little bro. I was here first, you bitch." he grunted.
"Yeah, but I'm still older than you by one year."
"Yeah, I'm pretty fucking sure that doesn't count." He rolled his eyes.
"Uh- I'm pretty sure that it does. Age is what determines who's the oldest sibling, dumbass." She said, matter-of-factly.
"I still refuse to accept it." He grunted in annoyance
"Fine... suit yourself... little Joot.~" (Y/n) chuckled.
She wouldn't change what they had for anything in the world, and she knew Jotaro thought the same thing. Even if he didn't really tell her.

Ok. Really random idea that popped into my brain yesterday. Picture this: a teen!reader that is a musical theatre actress on West End and is an orphan, she lives in an orphanage. One day, the Hollands visit said orphanage for a Brothers Trust charity fundraiser, and get to know the orphans(like when celebs visit a children’s hospital), except for the reader hates them and is short with them because she thinks they are just there for PR benefits. They overhear her rehearsing for her new show(she is the lead) and realize how talented she is, and confront her about this. They keep trying to get to know her better and she keeps rejecting their advances. Over time, she starts to open up to them and they end up adopting her. Just an angsty and cute thought. If you can write it, I’d appreciate it. But if you can’t, that is perfectly fine!
A/n: okay accidentally posted this but we okay now. Ooh, this is different. I like different so here we go! Though I'm not really good with angst so if it's terrible ooof. 🤣 Also, I chose The Little Mermaid as the musical because I'm not a theater kid and I don't know any musicals. THIS IS LONG AS SHIT!!! also like I didn't write the whole process of adoption because this was already super long and I don't know much about it.
Italics is singing.
You've been living at Maggie's home for children since you were 1 year old. Your dad had passed away before you were born, then your mom died of cancer two weeks before your 1st birthday. You are the second oldest kid. You accepted a long time ago that you wouldn't get adopted. Through the years you've seen people be adopted by all kinds of people. You didn't care. This was your home, a strange home but yours nonetheless.
You've been acting in musicals since you were 6, then again that was just your average year one play for Christmas. Now ten years later, you still do act. Mostly in musicals but you have done plays. Maggie (the woman who runs the orphanage) and a few of your friends are usually the only people in the crowd for you specifically and you couldn't care less. Today was like any other day, you were on your way back from practice for your next show. You have the lead as Ariel in the Little Mermaid musical, that the West end Theatre is putting on.
"Another rich person wanting to adopt to make themselves feel good." You muttered adjusting your bag. You looked at the car again before walking around the building. To the back door to avoid well hopefully avoid the visitors. You walked into the backyard then straight to the door. You opened it not noticing the teenager at the fridge.
"Did you sneak out?" He asked you jumped and looking at the owner of the voice.
"No. Who are you?" You looked at him carefully. "Are you a new orphan? Or are you with the rich people whose nice car is parked outside?" He looked at you for a second.
"I'm with them. Uh, one of the younger kids wanted a juice box... Where would I find that?" He asked.
"Move. So what are your parents adopting or some shit?" You asked moving the milk out of the way to grab a juice pouch.
"Uh, no my family are meeting the kids before the fundraiser we're having on Saturday." You nodded and threw him the juice pouch. You forgot Maggie had mentioned something about a fundraiser.
"Ok." You said pushing past him. You walked into the living room and we're surprised to see Tom holland talking with one of the younger kids, Eli. You knew there was something fishy. This is a PR stunt.
"Oh y/n! Your back! I didn't hear you come in. Hollands this is the young lady I was telling you about." Maggie said smiling as Finley the youngest of the kids, only 2 years old came running over to you.
"Hey Finnie." You cooed. "Miss. Maggie I'll be in my room, with Finn." You said not acknowledging the guests.
"Don't be rude Dear say hi to our guests." Maggie said giving you a warning look.
"Hi, my name is y/n, and I have homework, nice meeting you all." You said carrying the young toddler on your hip as you left the room. "Want to hear a new song, Finn?" Was the last thing they heard from you, followed by Finn saying yes and babbling.
"I'm sorry about her. She gets like that meeting new people." Maggie said.
"How long has she been here?" Nikki asked.
"14 years," Maggie answered.
"Oh... How old is she?"
"15. Well will you be staying for dinner? I'll make extras."
"Yeah we'll stay." Dom smiled nodding.
Back upstairs with you and Finn, he was sat on your bed smiling as you sat on a nearby empty bunk. You were one of 8 girls who shared this room. Ages ranging from 5-15. You being the oldest. The room across the hall had the boys in it with 6 boys ages ranging from 6 to 17. Then the room right next door to Maggie's had 4 kids ages ranging from 2-4. Any kids younger than a year will sleep in a crib in Maggie's room.
"Okay Finn want to hear my personal favorite song from this musical?" You asked him as you grabbed your phone to play the instrumentals. Your phone was a basic phone, you saved up for months to get it. Nothing special you found it used and it does what it needs to.
"Yeah!!" He exclaimed smiling. You were always drawn close to the orphans who joined when they were really young because they remind you of yourself. Except they usually got adopted. Finley moved into the orphanage when he was 3 months old, and since then he's been family to you.
"Could I watch?" Tom asked knocking on the door. You looked at him cautiously.
"Sorry, this is just a rehearsal. Maybe next time." You said. He nodded.
"Okay. Uh can you point me to the bathroom please?"
"It's the next door over. Please shut my door please." You said.
"Okay. Thank you." He closed the door and walked to the next door.
"Sing!" Finn exclaimed. You laughed and nodded clicking the instrumental for "Part of your world" you took a deep breath before beginning.
"Maybe he's right, maybe there is something the matter with me. I just don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad." You sang looking at the smile the toddler's face held. "Look at this stuff! Isn't it neat?" You stood up and danced around the room as you sang.
"Wouldn't you think my collection's complete? Wouldn't you think I'm the girl, the girl who has everything?" You didn't notice the door crack up and the Holland Brothers standing there.
"Look at this trove! Treasures untold, how many wonders can one cavern hold?" You did a little bit of the choreography that you learned today at rehearsal. "Looking around here you'd think, Sure, she's got everything." You leaned close to Finn tickling a bit making him giggle.
"I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty! I've got whozits and whatzits galore. You want thingamabobs? I got twenty!" You stared at the hair brush on a near by dresser before continuing still not noticing the brothers. "But who cares? No big deal, I want more." You pushed off the dresser turning back to your one man audience, well the one you knew about.
"I wanna be where the people are! I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin'." You picked finn up making him giggle as you danced around still singing. "Walking around on those, what do you call 'em? Oh, feet."
Tom stared amazed at how you actually were good. He didn't assume you were bad, but he didn't think you'd be this good. He should've believed Maggie when she said so. His brothers were in a silent agreement with him as they watched you dance around was the toddler.
"Flippin' your fins, you don't get too far. Legs are required for jumping, dancing, strolling along down the, what's that word again? Street." You sat Finn on the bed again smiling at him. "Up where they walk, up where they run."
Your voice was beautiful, and despite you having only started rehearsing this song last week you made very few mistakes. Soon you finished singing and took a sip of your water. You were used to clapping but it was usually only Finn or him and another one of the kids this was five sets of people. You turned to the door jumping when you saw the holland brothers.
"Shi-oot." You corrected yourself since there was a kid. "When did you guy get there!"
"Around the beginning. Your really good at singing." Harry said walking in. You sighed.
"Thank you." You said courtly.
"Seriously that was amazing!" Tom said smiling.
"Yeah." You grabbed, Finn's hand before leaving the room. You didn't want to be around them. You didn't want to be a pawn the PR stunt. And you weren't gonna leave the youngest of the kids alone with people you didn't know. "Well Finn lets go see if Miss Maggie needs help with dinner."
"We get it." Sam said rolling his eyes looking around the room. 6 bunk beds lined the room and. Then 6 dressers were across from them. Some of the bunks were empty not even having sheets on them. He assumed those were the unused bunks. "How many kids do you think sleep in this room?"
"Only 8 of the beds look made so 8." Paddy guessed.
"We need to try to get her to stop hating us." Tom spoke up.
"Yeah and how do you think that's gonna happen?" Harry asked looking at the bed you were on with Finn. He assumed it's yours.
"I haven't thought that far mate."
"Miss Maggie? Would you like any help?" You asked walking into the kitchen, Finn was with the other kids outside with, Gracie one of the caretakers who worked there, also Maggie's daughter who's around 25. She lives a few doors down.
"You can cut the carrots but why don't you talk with Tom he's an actor, he might be able to give you advice on to get into a bigger career after secondary school." She suggested.
"He's only here for his image. Helping needy orphans? That'll make all his fan girls swoon even more." You scoffed beginning to cut the carrots.
"You can't just assume everyone with money or fame do good things to look better." Maggie scolded. "And his family is trying to raise enough to get a playset for the garden. So the kids have somewhere to play."
"I guess he isn't that bad then." You rolled your eyes.
"Exactly so at least be polite. And not run away whenever they're around. That's why you haven't been adopted yet." You looked at her glaring.
"If anyone wanted to adopt me they would try harder then saying Hey kiddo!" You conceded.
"Hunny I've ran this orphanage for 30 years your not the only kid you thought they're unadoptable. Spoiler alert they got adopted." Maggie told you.
"Whatever. So on August 16th that's the first day of the show."
"I'll clear my calendar." She smiled. "Now go socialize."
"Fine." You scoffed making it into the living room.
"Hi! I'm Nikki." She smiled.
"Y/n." You gave a tight smile.
"Nice to meet you. Maggie said you act in musicals?" She asked you nodded wanting to go back to you room.
"Yeah." You agreed looking around for an excuse to leave.
"You're really good at singing!" Paddy said walking over.
"Thank you. I'll be upstairs if you need me." You dismissed yourself.
"I don't get what your problem with rich people are." The oldest, Michael said walking into your room, you be been up here for around an hour switching between homework and singing
"Of course you wouldn't you just got here a year ago." You scoffed, "Your stuck here for one more year. I've been stuck here my whole life. All rich people do is use us to make their image better." You sighed.
"Sorry. Miss Maggie wants me to tell you dinner is done." Then he left.
"Y/n! Sit next to me!" Maddie, a girl who's been here since she was 2 said smiling.
"Okay, Sweetie." You smiled taking the seat next to her.
"What musical are you rehearsing for?" Tom asked you over the noise of the younger kids talking loudly.
"The little mermaid." You responded taking a bite of your food.
"What role?" Dom asked you.
"Ariel." You mumbled looking at your plate.
"Well congratulations. When's the show?" Tom asked. You sighed, the others of their family were paying attention to the other kids but they locked their attention on you for some annoying reason.
"None of your business." You responded vaguely.
"How long have you been acting?"
"Nine years." You looked at Maggie but her attention was on Nikki.
"Nice. What was your first musical?" Dom asked you.
"Beauty and the Beast." You said quietly.
"Oh. What's your favorite musical you've been in?" Tom asked you, as his dad's attention was pulled away by one of the kids starting a conversation with him.
You looked at him and shrugged. Continuing with your food wanting to get out of there as fast as possible.
"What theatre do you act at?" He asked you.
"West end Theatre." You said. His smile widened. You knew he has acted there. Some of the other girls you've met are fans of his and have gushed about how cool they found acting at the some place he started. You couldn't care less.
"Oh! I acted there I was in Billy Elliott." He smiled.
"I know. May I be excused?" You asked Maggie.
"Yes." You left the room quickly.
———
"Y/n! Can you please help us get the girls ready?" Gracie asked coming into your room where everyone besides you was sleeping. You were quietly practicing choreography.
"Of course." You smile. She gave you a grateful smile as she hurried across the hall. "Okay Ladies! Wake up! We have to be at the park in two hours!" You said loudly.
"It's too earlier." The oldest besides you, Bella said rolling over. She's lived here two years, and is 13.
"Wake up!" You pushed her off her bottom bunk bed gently. "I don't want to go to this either but we have to." You said.
It only took 40 minutes to get them all up. You helped the younger ones get dressed before you were downstairs eating breakfast. Then out the door. The event was being held at a park.
"Leave me alone." You said before Paddy could even say something.
"I was just going to say hi." He muttered walking away. You were just happy you only had to be here for a little while since you have rehearsal.
"Hey y/n!" Sam said smiling at you.
"Hi." You said continuing to go over lines in your head.
"What're you doing?" He asked.
"None of your business." You said walking away.
"Oof." Harry laughed walking over to his twin. "She still hates us I see."
"Yeah."
"She thinks your just helping the orphanage for PR benefits. I personally couldn't care less I'm getting out in a month but it's a big deal to her." Micheal explained watching as you joined the younger kids at the arts and crafts table.
"We aren't doing it for PR." Harry said.
"That's what someone who is doing something for PR would say. Well bye." He said walking away to the food table.
"He was strange." Sam laughed
"I think he was right, cause look at her, she's being nice to everyone except us."
"So what do we do?" Tom asked walking over to them.
"Why does it matter if we get close to her. We'll probably never see her again." Paddy said making his way back over.
"Because we can." Harry shrugged.
"Well then, I'm going to get lunch," Sam said before walking away.
"Where's miss Maggie?" You asked walking over.
"Talking with our parents. What's up?" Tom asked smiling.
"Nothing." You said going to leave but they stopped you.
"We're not doing this for PR you know." Tom told you before you could get away.
"Mhm." You nodded. "Whatever you say."
"We're serious." Harry said. You looked at them cautiously.
"Okay. So what? You're not doing this for PR." You crossed your arms, rolling your eyes. "Now if you excuse me I have better things to do." You finished walking away.
"Maybe she'll give us a chance now?" Paddy asked laughing nervously.
"Probably not." Tom laughed before leaving I go play with the kids.
———
"Okay if one more person touches my phone without my permission they're going to be in big trouble!" You exclaimed unable to find your phone. The younger kids have found it funny to hide it.
"Here I think this is it. I found it on the floor." Tom handed it to you.
"Thank you... What are you doing here?" You asked him checking your phone over.
"I'm volunteering now since I don't have any films for awhile." He told you smiling. You nodded as Maggie came out of her office.
"Hey Sweetheart we have a baby girl and her older brother coming tonight could you show Tom where the sheets are so he can set up the crib in my room and a bed in the younger kids' room," Maggie asked you.
"Yep. Come on." You hurried to door to go to the basement.
"Does this happen a lot? Getting two kids at once I mean." Tom asked following you down.
"Its not uncommon. Okay so for sheets you have these options." You showed him four sheets sets stacked up, one pink, one blue, a Mickey mouse one, and a light yellow one. "The blankets are in the drier. Should be done soon." You said before going toward the stairs.
"Wait y/n!" He said now holding the Mickey mouse sheet set, the light yellow ones, a Mickey blanket, and a pastel pink baby blankets. You turned to him. "Why did you start acting?" He asked walking with your. You looked at him carefully before decided what's the worse that could happen.
"I had a lot fun in my primary school musical. Even if I was just tree number 1. So Maggie agreed to sign me up for more." You shrugged. "Now nine years later I didn't get tired of it."
"Oh. Favorite musical you've been in?" He asked you as the town of you made it up the stairs and you started locking the basement door.
"Mamma Mia. What about you? What was your favorite role?"
"I don't have one. But one of the top ones is spiderman." Tom answered. "If you don't my asking what do you know about your birth family?"
"Only know how my parents died. And that I have zero sibling." You answered.
"Hmm." He hummed his acknowledgment. He was curious on how they passed but decided not to ask.
"Okay bye." Once on the second floor you went to your room while he went to make the beds.
———
"I'm glad to see you guys could make it!" Maggie smiled outside of the theatre, holding Finn. She couldn't afford 21 tickets and just didn't want to bring that many kids to the show so it was just her.
"Of course we wouldn't miss it for the world." Nikki smiled. It was the night of the show, and Maggie invited the Hollands. Who you had warmed up to after a little while.
Soon everyone was sat and the show was about to start. It was dark in the theatre with the stage being lit up. You came out in a costume that made it look like you had a mermaid tail.
The show was finished now and you were backstage waiting for Miss Maggie to join you. She hugged you gushing over how good it was. Then you noticed the Holland family standing behind you.
"Hey!" You smiled.
"You did great!" Sam said smiling. They would've given you hugs but it was clear your weren't ready for them to be doing that.
"Thank you." Over the last few weeks you had actually come to like the family. Now of course you still push them away but you no longer ignore them.
"It's the first thank you you said not begrudgingly!" Dom teased. You rolled you eyes.
"Haha." You laughed sarcastically.
"Oh, she's pouty now." Tom teased trying to hug you but you pushed him away failing to stop him from hugging you.
"I hate you." You grumbled. None of you noticed how their parents and Maggie looked at each other with smiles as Sam, Harry, and Paddy joined in.
"You can't just say that everytime we annoy you." Harry said chuckling.
"I can and will." You pushed Tom off of you.
"Whatever." Paddy laughed.
Maybe this is what having older brothers is like not that you would want that. Well that's what you tell yourself as you continuing arguing with them. From the outside looking in, you five were siblings. Not because you look alike -which you didn't (ignore that if you actually look like them)- but because of how you were acting.
"Okay Y/n we have to get home now." Maggie smoke up. You nodded.
"Okay! Let me grab my bag." You skipped away and to your dressing room. You came back with your bag and a smile. "Bye!" You hugged Nikki before waving bye at your castmates and heading home.
"Sweetheart what do you think about them?" Maggie asked during the car ride.
"They're chill. Why?" You asked looking at your phone.
"Just wondering." She smiled.
—
"Okay we need to have a family discussion." Nikki said once they got home.
"What?" Tom asked sitting on the couch with Tessa.
"Is it about y/n?" Paddy asked sitting next to his eldest brother.
"We were thinking about adopting her. But we need the whole family on board." Dom explained.
"I've always wanted a little sister! Yes." Tom said with a big smile.
"Will I have to share my room?" Paddy asked.
"No she'll get tom's old room."
"Wow just getting rid of me." He scoffed.
"Okay I'm on board!"
"I don't think she'd say yes. But I'm on board." Sam said shrugging.
"I'm on board."
"I agree with Sam. There's no way she'll say yes." Tom said now realizing you'd have to agree to becoming their sister.
"Well we're not adopting her for a little while, since we need to set Tom's room up, and convince her." Nikki explained.
"That's gonna take forever." Paddy chuckled.
"Maybe it will but won't it be fun to have a sister."
———
"Oh is her Majesty annoyed?" Sam cooed laughing at your frustrated glared as you got into his car. You slapped his shoulder. "Okay what happened?"
"Nothing." You sneered crossing your arms. It's became a normal occurrence for him to pick you up from the theatre after he finishes work.
"You're a terrible liar." He laughed. You just rolled your eyes and looked out the window.
"Seriously is something wrong?"
"Someone was just picking on me. But I'm fine, kinda used to it actually." You said playing with your fingers.
"You can talk to me. And the others too."
"You wouldn't understand." You mumbled. He sighed but stayed quiet for the rest of the car ride. "Why are you coming in with me?" You asked him.
"Because I can." He shrugged. You rolled your eyes opening the door yelling that you were home and hurrying to your room. The past month had been something to were struggling with. Finn and Maddie had gotten adopted, -by different families- and while you were happy for them you missed them. And just today people were making fun of you for being an orphan. You just wanted to escape it.
"Y/n! Come to my office real quick!" Maggie shouted from the bottom of the stair. You sighed, quickly making your way down. You see the whole Holland family there. And Maggie had a giant smile on her face.
"What?" You asked crossing your arms.
"We want to adopt you." Nikki said. Your head snapped toward her direction. You held a stare for what seemed like an eternity.
"Why am I actually here?" You asked Maggie in denial.
"We want to adopt you." Dom copied his wife. You stared at him this time.
"Uh I-i uh well. WHAT?!" You exclaimed sitting down on a nearby chair. "You-" you pointed at them, "Want to adopt me?" You pointed at yourself.
"That's what we said."
"I think I need a minute." You said and walked out.
"So was that a no?" Paddy asked nervously.
"Give her minute." Maggie assured. She knew you, she also knew that as much as you would deny it, being adopted was something you've always wanted.
"Holy shit!" You were heard from the hallway. You came back in after a little while not noticing the amused looks on their faces. You ran straight into Nikki and Dom's arms, tears on your face.
You were going to have a family. Holy shit. Something you never thought you'd have, a mom, a dad, brothers. This felt like a dream.
"Is that a yes?" Dom asked you once the hug ended.
"Yes! A thousand times yes!" You said, and with that your soon-to-be brothers hugged you at once. You groaned haphazardly pushing at them.
"Okay now let's go over what needs to happen."
———
Your 16 now and have been a full fledged Holland for three months. The adoption took 6 months to process but here you are. Also you guys took a cute photo where their shirts said "She's stuck with us" and the date then yours said "I'm stuck with them" with the date. And that's how the fans found out about you.
"Mum! Tell them to stop it!" You glared at your brothers. It took you all of the 8 months to get used to calling them mom and dad but now it's just norm.
"Boys what're you doing?" Nikki aske her sons.
"A boy was flirting with her!" Tom said holding you phone up which had messages between you and your castmate.
"We were discussing lines!" You argued.
"He was clearly flirting." Paddy argued. "I mean just read the texts he's blatantly flirting."
"We're playing love interests! He was putting the lines in text!" You said stealing your phone back. "Ugh I hate you guys!" You grumbled and walked off. "And he's gay!" You added.
"Oh." Sam laughed.
"Sorry!" Harry shouted.
"Fuck off!"
"Don't cuss at your brothers!" Nikki scolded before turning to them, "stop doing that shit. She'll tell us if she's dating someone."
"Fine."

You either tease them for being younger, or they tease you for being younger! If you’re younger, you call them an old man!
Hey could I ask for an angsty Boromir x reader? (Platonic or romantic.) Maybe when he dies, reader can be there instead of Aragorn? Thanks!
I decided to make this a platonic fic between siblings (tried to keep it gender neutral which I feel I did a good job of, well done me lmao).
(I’m a dick for choosing this gif lmao)
Warnings: DEATH! (Poor Boromir). Sad as hell. Sad asf reader. It’s just sad, I dunno what to tell ya. ANGST!
Words: 925 (didn’t seem right dragging it out, honestly)
Pairings: Boromir x reader (platonic) (gender neutral)
_______________
The air escaped your lungs as if you had been slammed to the floor and being left winded, gasping for oxygen desperately as it feels as if you’re dying.
You faintly remember hearing a scream, loud but sounding so distant, not realising it was your own. The scream had been accompanied by a high-pitched ringing in your ears as you had watched the first arrow hit Boromirs’ upper body, followed by another, and another.
Failure to reach your eldest brother resulted in him going down as he valiantly fought against the grotesque Uruk-hai to protect the two of the four Hobbits you vowed to travel with to deliver the One Ring to Mount Doom.
The scene before you of Boromir finally dropping to his knees, followed by falling down on to his back and staring up towards the sky between the leaves and branches above tore through your heart.
He was your big brother. He was supposed to be invincible.
You became ignorant of your surroundings as your vision stayed glued to your dying brother, missing how Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas finally appear, taking down those that remain to fight and scaring off others, your enemies retreating back to whichever way they came from.
Dragging feet, you stumbled towards Boromir subconsciously, your mind and body completely and utterly numb. You wished your eyes deceived, maybe that this whole ordeal had simply just been one bad dream that you wanted to wake up from right this second.
The sharp pain you feel from your knees running up the length of your body as they hit the harsh ground beside Boromirs’ body jolts you out of your daze ever so slightly, now being able to feel the downpour of your tears racing from your eyes and down your cheeks.
“They…took the halflings.”
His voice sounds hoarse and scratchy, already sounding so weak and lacking his usual booming, authoritative tone.
“I don’t care about the Hobbits,” you started, your voice stuffy and filled with sadness. “You’re dying Boromir.”
The chuckle he releases is strained and causes a coughing fit to follow. “It appears I am, but it is simply fate following its course. We cannot stop it now, (sister/brother).”
Your head shakes vigorously, his words calling for your tears to fall faster and harder than just a mere moment before. “You-You can’t leave me. You can’t leave me and Faramir. We need you. We need our big brother.”
Boromir releases a pitiful, shaky sigh. Breathing was becoming more and more difficult with each passing second.
“No, you don’t. You’re both so strong and you will have each other, like it has always been.” He weakly grasped your hand with his left as his right moved to your cheek, attempting to dry your tears even though the act is fruitless as they continue to escape you.
“Don’t cry. You need to stay strong. For the Hobbits, for the fellowship, for Faramir, for yourself. If that is not enough, then for me.”
You nodded your head. You would do anything to please your brother in his final moments.
“Okay,” you whispered out, sniffling slightly.
Boromirs’ eyes become glossy, glazed over with tears he’s desperately trying to keep at bay, attempting to appear as the strong older brother you have always viewed him as. His heart swells and fills with happiness and love knowing that at least he gets to speak to one of his younger siblings one final time.
But sorrow is what you both truly felt in the moment. Yours due to losing your brother, the one who had protected you from the moment you had been brought into this world, so small and fragile in his arms when he held you for the first time compared to his 9-year-old self, Faramir himself only being 4 years older than yourself.
His on the other hand, is because he is leaving behind both you and Faramir, that he will not live to see the families you build and the children that would be his nieces’ and nephews’. He now won’t be able to watch both of his younger siblings grow and build their futures how he always pictured they would.
The thought alone broke his heart.
Yet Boromir smiled up towards the sky, knowing he’ll be waiting to see both of his younger siblings when their time comes, ready to welcome them with such familiarity.
“I must go now.” His voice is but a mere whisper, broken and breathy. The life that is so visible in his orbs is slipping away and are dimming with each passing second.
“I don’t want you to go.” You sound like a heartbroken child, sobbing and choking on your words. It reminds him of when you were all younger.
“I love you dearly. Both of you. Remind Faramir when you reunite.”
“I love you too.”
Moments passed until you eventually heard Boromirs, final breath pass his lips, slowly exhaling into a permanent sleep.
Your body trembles and shakes as you continue to cry silently, your head lowered and your eyes squeezed tightly shut, tears seeping through and dripping on to the lifeless corpse of your brother. The three remaining of your travelling companions lower their heads out of respect, Gimlis’ helmet removed from atop of his head also.
As you continue your brief period of mourning, you feel a sort of determination coarse through you. You were to do as your eldest brother asked and carry on stronger than you had been before.
Faramir deserved to hear the news from his last remaining sibling.

It's been years though. now the war has started and I was on the run with my brother and his friends. he didn't know about the mark or that I was the one that killed Dumbledore. I knew that they were onto us now.
how do I know? well, we're running from some of the people that I saw at that table that day. I was pulled by the wrist.
"Oh, is the lord mad at you." I could smell his breath from how close to my face he was. we apparated and I saw him there again.
"Please..." I cried, fat tears falling down my face. I saw Harry and the others appear next to me.
"Take them downstairs." I heard Bellatrix, "Except for her. that's your girlfriend right Draco?"
"No but we are well aquatinted." it shattered my heart to hear him call me an acquaintance.
"Great!" she laughed maniacally. "You can take care of her." I saw him tense before nodding. he walked to me and gently grabbed my upper arm, pulling me into another room. I quickly stopped crying knowing that if I did I would only make it harder for Draco.
"It's ok Dracy." I smiled when he put me on a chair. mumbling a spell under his breath, putting restraints on me.
I tried not to scream when he cut and hurt me, but after a while, it gets to be harder and harder to hold back.
"I'm sorry (N/N)." I saw tears fall from his face.
"It's okay." my voice is raspy from screaming my throat raw. we heard noises from the other room. the nob jiggled and in popped Ron to 'save' the day.
"Step away from her Draco." I rarely ever heard Ron talk with such a stern tone. why did he even care so much, it's not like we are friends or anything. I slowly felt the blood drain from me, and it turns out that I was focusing too much on that, that I didn't notice the restraints get taken off of me and my body being carried out of the room.
the main room was a mess, the chandelier was on the floor now, Hermine was bloodied, and Harry now looked like, well harry. Ron jumped into a portal-like thing with me still in his arms. we landed on the beach.
"(Y/N) what's that!" I heard my brother shout, I pushed myself back up. my arms leaning behind me in excruciating pain.
"What are you on about now?" I sat up, rubbing my head with my left arm. I saw Harry kneel next to me with a scowl on his face.
"This!" he yelled, causing my head her hurt more while grabbing my left arm. "You're one of them aren't you?!"
"Harry I didn't-"
"You lied to us." he stands up, letting go of my arm roughly.
"No." I weakly mustered, standing up after him.
"You told them where we were didn't you?!" he shouted questionablely.
"Of course not harry! I didn't want this! I never-" I felt a pain starting in my cheek and rippling to the rest of my face.
"Stop lying, you, traitor!" I looked at my brother's face, in his eyes was betrayal, and painted on his face was hatred.
"Fine, don't listen." I apparated back to the manor, waiting to be killed for turning on them.

time was no longer a concept held to my understanding. the seconds felt like years and days felt like a millennia. the weeks started to feel like multiple lifetimes. i felt my aching body get picked up by arms that were all but a blurry memory to me now.
i screamed in pain, there was a searing pain coursing through my body. it hurt to even blink. i felt myself get placed onto the bed, and the warmth of the arms leave but the warmth of the pain was still lingering.
i slept on the airy cloud for god knows how long. i opened my eyes, I felt soar but not nearly as much pain that I was in that I last remember. i saw draco sitting in a chair near the foot of the bed, his head was on the bed. i painfully slowly pushed myself up. i moved myself to where my head was next to his, I wrapped my arm around his neck, laying back down. i noticed the dark circles under his eyes on his pale skin.
i stared at him, taking in how much he had neglected himself since i last saw him. i watched as his eyes opened, showing me the color that i had loved so much.
"Good morning." i weakly smiled with a quiet voice.
"(Y/N)?" his eyes dilated and his head shot up.
"Hello." his arms wrapped around me loosly, making sure not to hurt me farther.
"I've missed you so much!" he cried, hiding his face in the crook of my neck.
"It's ok." i started to feel my throat grow soar. "How long?"
"About 5 days." he lifted his head from my shoulder but didn't look up. i sat up and cupped his face. lifting it and taking in the sight. his eyes were now red and puffy and his tear falling fast down his cheeks.
"It's ok," i wiped away some tears with my thumb, tears of my own forming from the sight. i held them in though because i have to be strong for him.

the battle was over, i laid on a blanket on the ground with my best friend over me. his tears fell on my face, but in this moment i couldn't care less about the water hitting my face.
"Don't cry please, i don't want you to be sad." i smiled at him. i guess something i said or did in that moment though made him even more sad as the tears came faster and harder. i sat up not caring about the pain reeking through my body.
"(Y/N) no, lay back down. you need your strength." he slowly and lightly pushed me back down.
"Dracy we both now i wont make it."
"yes you will." his stern voice filled the area.
"(Y/N)?" i heard an oh so familiar voice say from down the row.
"Harry?" i looked over at him so see the worried look on his face.
"(Y/N) what-" he ran over to me, but before he could get too close Draco stopped him.
"Don't you come over here you sorry excuse for a brother!" Draco stood in front of him, shouting at harry who was about 10 steps away.
"Get out of my way draco."
"No."
"Let me see my sister!" harry lost his patience.
"You know after all of the times you hurt her, and no matter how many times she came to me crying because of the things you said to her, she still considers you family. and she still loves you to death no matter how many times you told her that you hate her." i could hear his voice crack, and feel my eye lids growing too heavy for me. "So no. you cant see your sister and you aren't getting anywhere near her."
"dracy?" i whispered, my voice getting away from me.
"(Y/N)?" his steps toward me could be heard. "(Y/N) baby, it's ok." i felt my head get placed into his lap, just like he did the first time Harry told me that he hated me.
"Dracy I'm tiered."
"I know baby, it's ok. you can go. ill be ok, ill be just fine i promise."
"thank you draco, i love you." i told him resting my head back into his lap. before hearing and feeling the last thing i ever would.
"I love you too baby, sleep well." his voice broke and his lips met with my forehead, his tears falling on me too.
