What about a teen reader who accidentally sneaked into the ship and was found way later by Yao and Ilyukhina after Grace was put to space and once Grace wakes up he's so confused why there's a kid here (maybe they were also taught some stuff by Yao and Ilyukhina beforehand since they definitely couldn't send them back and being in an unknown place is scary, so you have a teen explaining complicated science to an amnesiac Grace)

Oh my goodness this is so cute! Especially (to me anyway) like they were also working on project hail mary before they are in space and have history with Grace, Yao, and Ilyukhina and maybe looked up to them and now two are dead one is an amnesiac and is reeling from the fact they are looking at Grace someone they admired and snuck onto the ship to try and help a shamble of a man while also grieving Yao and Ilyukhina and getting over 4 years of isolation since the rest were in commas. At the same time Grace is wondering who the hell sent a kid into space but also just extremely happy to have someone around and wants to remember and do what he can for himself and the kid who he is for some reason extremely familiar with but doesn't know why. I will be writing this more indepth

“You’re really chowing down on those things, aren’t you?” Grace comments in slight bewilderment. “My mouth hurts and this is the only thing that helps.” you answer as you crunch down on another piece of ice and chew.

You and Simon have slowly been growing mutations post-rescue. Simon’s was more obvious due to the injured side of his face healing over with the new skin and sharp teeth running up his mouth. Yours had taken a while to reach that stage since the points of infection were less visible. Like your clothes covering up the fact that the skin on your leg was starting to look more like the one on Simon’s face, tiny little teeth poking out included. And despite sustaining multiple fractures you were able to walk on it perfectly fine when you reasonably would need a cane for a long time if not permanently.

Or how you very quickly got over your fear of bodies of liquid and started getting the urge to swim and seemed to be a natural… despite having never swam a day in your life. Oh, and you seem to be growing gills much faster than Simon is, possibly because your lungs adapted from your repository infection after inhaling the blood. So that’s cool? But now you’re finally “teething”, as Grace puts it.

Grace just smiles at your response. “I figured as much. You’ve been chewing on them for a while now. Are you sure you don’t want anything else? I think I can convince the medical team to give you something to numb the pain.” Grace offers. You shake your head no. “This is fine. It’s helping with my urges to bite things too.” you explain while you chew.

“You want to bite things?” Grace questions.

“Well, not in a violent way. It’s more like I just feel the need to bite things because if I don’t my mouth hurts more.” you clarify.

Grace takes a moment to respond before shrugging. “You’ll grow out of it. Simon went through the same thing at the beginning and then he stopped.” he says as he takes a sip of his coffee.

“That’s because you let him chew on you.” you remark bluntly as you take another chunk of ice and pop it in your mouth. Grace choked and spits out some of his coffee, growing red in the face. “Excuse me?!” Grace exclaims. You roll your eyes.

“I’m not stupid. I know what you two go off to do when you leave me with Rocky and Adrian. Or tell me it’s a nice night to go to the observatory. Or suggest I check out some movies while I have free time. Or when Simon checks up on me in my room at night and tells me ‘I should be in bed by now’.” you list off.

“Well that last part is reasonable. You stay up very late sometimes. It’s not good for you.” Grace attempts to scold you.

“I can see the bandages under your cardigan.” you shoot back. Grace scrunches his face and adjusts his clothing while giving you a “touché” look.

Teen!reader who is also insanely sneaky and clever, places traps to catch whatever gets caught. Until one day they catch a knocked out werewolf!Johnny(in his wolf form), who was wrapped in tight ropes that were cutting into his skin and drawing blood.

Immediately regretting what they've done, reader starts cutting the questionably larger than average wolf free with their knife. Unaware of werewolf!Johnny who was slowly waking up, his mind dazed as he was slow in processing the situation. However, he quickly noticed the human Infront of him and the knife reader was holding.

The moment teen!reader cut the last rope free, Johnny launched forward, biting their arm. Reader cries out in pain, reeling back until their back hits a tree. Werewolf!Johnny stood up to his full form, slowly approaching reader, they held their knife up in fear, now cursing themselves for being so reckless. Imaging if Johnny was going to consume them, if he'll make it quick and easy, or slow or painful.

Closing their eyes, readers braces for the worst, but is only met with a lick to their bite mark. Opening their eyes, reader looks at Johnny, tears streaming down their face. Johnny leaned forward to lick at reader's face, not stopping till they laughed and eventually started pushing him away.

"Ew gross!" They exclaimed, wiping at their face. Johnny sits down in front of them, a goofy grin on his face. Maybe he wasn't going to eat them after all...

The moment is somewhat peaceful, until the loud ring of a bell echoes in the distance, the towns bell that signaled afternoon. Both reader and Johnny's head turned towards the noise. Reader's body moving in a rush as they stand up and rush back, waving the wolf goodbye. Unaware of what the bite on their arm will lead to....
