Wayne!Reader infodump/ideas since I have been reading a ton of batfam x Neglected!Wayne!reader. But I don't normally write so sorry for the mess!
Neglected!Wayne!reader who couldn't become a hero from insistence issues, like POTS and or AMPS- (I'm only saying POTS and AMPS because I have both along with other stuff) It's something they hate about themselves because training and therapy can't get rid of it, it's chronic. No matter how they try they won't be able to even try to gain attention by being a Robin. Neglected!Wayne!reader who is constantly covered in bruises from passing out or other things so Batfam don't feel comfortable taking them to Galas because it could make them look bad or put them in more danger.
Neglected!Wayne!Reader with messily cut hair because they cut it during a flare up before it made their migraines worse. Alfred who fixes Neglected!Wayne!reader hair in the kitchen while they eat cookies. Neglected!Wayne!Reader who needs mobility aids, but gets nervous about using them because the media gives them backlash for using a cane one day and a wheelchair the next. Neglected!Wayne!Reader who the Bats secretly love but worry about getting to close from how fragile Reader seems and worry about them getting targeted if the favor was known. Neglected!Wayne!Reader who crys themselves to sleep because it's the only time they feel safe to cry, when everyone else is asleep or gone. Neglected!Wayne!Reader with a quiet hatred for the Batfamily because they never felt good enough in their eyes. In a family of Geniuses, star athletes and models being Average makes you look stupid, weak and ugly. Neglected!Wayne!Reader who is very self conscious, who doesn't like standing next to their spectacular siblings because it makes them feel so stupid and ugly- they feel sick.
Neglected!Wayne!Reader who stopped trying to be seen as smart by their peers because their siblings would always outclass them and make them feel terrible. Neglected!Wayne!Reader who has dental issues from their anxiety and quiet hate- cheeks often raw, tongue often bleeding and teeth cracking from clenching their jaw.. Neglected!Wayne!Reader who bought themselves a baby's teething toy to try and help with it but can't use it in front of anyone without making them want to run.
If I do end up writing a story you can probably find it using the 'Neglected!Wayne!reader 😷💫' tag. But I don't promise I haven't wrote in a while and i am quite nervous.

Chapter Fourteen: Mindstorm
Summary: (Y/N) and Butcher relive their worst moments while Soldier Boy and Hughie chase across the woods.
Chapter Warnings: flashbacks to torture, child abuse, mentions of Borealis's gender assigned at birth (dysphoria warning)
“What the hell?!” shouted Mindstorm, stumbled to the forest floor naked.
“Okay, wait, wait!” Covering his eyes, Hughie tried to get Mindstorm to listen.
“Why the fuck am I naked?!” snapped Mindstorm.
“I can explain, okay?” said Hughie.
“You’re with Soldier Boy,” sneered Mindstorm. “You’re trying to fucking kill me!”
“No! No. No,” said Hughie. “I just saved your life.”
“Leave me alone!” shouted Mindstorm.
“Please, calm down, I only want to talk, okay? Just talk,” said Hughie.
“I’m not bothering anyone. I’m just trying to get away from all the fucking voices!” Mindstorm closed his eyes, feeling the voices press in. “I’m just trying to get away from the voices!”
“Hey, hey. I’m gonna open my eyes, alright?” said Hughie. “Please don’t coma me.” He opened his eyes and found Mindstorm staring at him warily but not sending him into a coma. “Okay. Hey. We’re cool. Very child. Very cool. Also, we-we don’t have to do this naked. Alright.” He glanced (Y/N) and Butcher’s bodies and then at the bag next to Butcher. He moved towards it, and Mindstorm tensed. “Just-just clothes. They’re just clothes. I’m gonna reach in.” He kept his eyes on Mindstorm to show he wasn’t trying anything. “I’m gonna grab you some, okay?” He held out some clothes, and Mindstorm grabbed them, hurriedly dressing himself. Hughie did the same.
“Look,” said Hughie, trying to keep Mindstorm calm. “Look, hey, I don’t want to be here. I-I was pretending to be someone I’m not.” He couldn’t be a cold killer, focused on the mission at hand, like Butcher and Soldier Boy (and, to an extent, though not as cold, (Y/N)). “I’m not like Soldier Boy. That guy’s full of shit. I mean, no one is that tough, and then…And the people who say they are? They’re lying. And I’m-I’m done. I want to go home. So, I’m just…I’m begging you…to please wake up my friends.”
Mindstorm glanced at Butcher and (Y/N)’s bodies. “I’ve been inside their heads.” He pointed at Butcher. “That guy’s a piece of shit.” He pointed at (Y/N). “And that one? Do you know how many people they killed in their rampage?” He shivered at the memory of what he’d seen from a year ago. “If they snap, they could kill us all.”
Hughie could argue that (Y/N) did care about not killing, but he doubted Mindstorm would listen. And (Y/N) doesn’t always care. He had seen what they were capable of when they arrived to fight Stormfront over a year ago. They had been bloody, a murderer, and although it was justifiable, the look in their eyes had been terrifying.
“I-I don’t want to be someone who leaves people behind,” said Hughie, honest and open. That was the only way to get Mindstorm to listen: match the thoughts in Hughie’s head. Hide nothing. “I want to be someone who saves his family.” (Y/N). Butcher. Annie. “And for better or worse—” his voice broke “—they’re family. Please wake them up.”
Hughie swallowed since it was true. Butcher was intent on letting Mindstorm (and many other supes) die, and (Y/N) would be returning to consciousness from extremely traumatic memories that had triggered their ability to kill once before. There was little chance they wouldn’t snap or confuse reality with their memories.
“I can get you out of here.” Hughie seized on the one possible item he had to offer Mindstorm. “If you just please, please wake them up, I’ll teleport you away. You’ll be safe. You’ll be far away, away from everyone, including Soldier Boy. I’ll take you wherever you want to go. And I will never tell a soul where that is. Hand to God.” Anything for (Y/N).
Mindstorm was seriously considering the offer, and he gritted his teeth, glancing between Hughie, Butcher, and (Y/N).
l
Butcher stared at Lenny’s face as Lenny glared at him. It had been horrible enough to see the moment Lenny had begged him to stay and relive the way he left. Now Lenny was looking at present-day Butcher with a hard, angry look, disappointment etched into his features. Butcher swallowed his anguish.
“You fucking knew what’d he’d do,” said Lenny, speaking about himself in a ghostly manner. “It’s your fault.”
“No, don’t say that,” said Butcher, real anguish in his tone. “That’s…that’s not true. I-I’m not that bastard.” He wasn’t his father. He wasn’t Homelander. He couldn’t be a monster.
“Come off it, Billy. You always have been.” Lenny loaded the small pistol. “’Cause anyone who’s ever loved you, you end up getting killed, don’t you? Me. Becca. Now, Hughie, the last person on God’s green earth trying to stop you from being a monster, and what do you do? Drag him down to the level. When he dies, and he will, then no one can stop you. And when you push that kid until they die—” Butcher furrowed his brow as he realized Lenny was talking about Borealis “—you’ll have been the one who sent them to their death.” Lenny’s cold stare bore into Butcher’s very soul. “You want to make them into a monster so you can justify it, but they’re not one. You are. You always have been.” Lenny turned away and raised the gun.
“Lenny, no!”
Bang!
l
Hughie’s eyes widened in relief when Butcher sucked in a breath and opened his eyes. Butcher’s wild gaze landed on Hughie, and he grabbed him desperately.
“I’m sorry,” he said. “I’m so fucking sorry!”
“You’re sorry for what?” said Hughie, supporting Butcher as he sat up.
Butcher stared. Hughie’s face and Lenny’s swam together. He swallowed. “Hughie.”
“It’s okay, Butcher,” said Hughie. “It’s okay. You’re alright.” He looked at Mindstorm. “Now them.”
Butcher jerked when he saw Mindstorm, but Hughie grabbed him by the shoulders before he could react. Butcher was too shaken to fight back, the image of Lenny’s hatred embedded into his mind.
“No! (Y/N) needs to be pulled out,” said Hughie quickly. He watched Butcher’s shoulders rise and fall with long, tired breaths. He let go and looked at Mindstorm. “Help them and a deal’s a deal.”
l
“I thought things were supposed to be different by now.”
(Y/N) opened their eyes and turned around, breaths still coming shakily. They stared. It was their younger self. Hair longer. Clothing forced to be feminine. The exhausted look in their gaze from tiredness, not from the darkness they’d fallen into. They swallowed.
“They are,” said (Y/N).
“Are they? We lost Annie. MM is upset at us. Who knows where Frenchie and Kimiko are,” said Borealis.
“Annie is at V Tower. I can’t go there. Kimiko and Frenchie are recovering. They’re safer far away from all this,” said (Y/N). “And MM is…We need Soldier Boy to defeat Homelander. That has to come first. No one is safe with him out there.”
“You’re scared,” said Borealis.
“No, I’m not,” denied (Y/N), looking away.
“Yes, you are,” said Borealis. “Of Homelander. Of Butcher. Of yourself.”
“They can hurt people. I can hurt people,” said (Y/N). “Of course I worry.”
“Stop being scared!” shouted Borealis.
(Y/N) jerked and looked back. They cried out and stumbled back. Borealis’s image had shifted to that of (Y/N) one year ago: wounds gaping across tattered grey clothes, stained red with their own and others’ blood, scars of electrocution running up and down their body, eyes glowing with the power to kill, hands dripping with the blood of the White Coats.
“This is who you are!”
“No!” said (Y/N), shaking their head.
“You are a monster,” said Borealis. “That’s what you are.”
“No!” denied (Y/N) again.
“You’re a killer.”
“I was freeing myself!”
“You enjoyed it.”
“It was self defense!”
“Stop lying to yourself! You murdered them, and you enjoyed every second of it!”
“Shut up!” (Y/N) tried to cover their eyes.
“You are a monster!”
“I’m not like him!”
“You can’t even use your powers correctly anymore,” sneered Borealis. “Because you know if you do, you’ll kill again. Because you’re not human. You’re a creature made to kill.”
“I’m more than that!” said (Y/N) desperately.
“You’re still a tool,” said Borealis.
“No, I’m doing what I want,” said (Y/N), trying to convince themself of it. They were spiraling, and their chest heaved. “I’m-I’m being me.” They wanted to be more than Borealis. They wanted to be. Monster, creature, experiment—words (Y/N) didn't want but knew were right for them echoed in their mind. They killed. They thought about causing people pain. They were hard-wired to violence, and they couldn't make themself feel bad about it.
“You are living a lie about what you are,” said Borealis. They rolled up their sleeves, and (Y/N) flinched at all the scars. “This is what you are. A stitched together thing made for the masses to consume. Why not just let them tear you apart? You were made to be picked apart in the end.”
“It’s not true. It’s not!” (Y/N) seized upon the words, hanging on by a thread. “Annie and Hughie—”
“Know what you are. They saw what you did. And now they don’t want to care about you anymore. They know that your humanity is all an act,” said Borealis. They gestured to the Room around them, stark and white. Blood began to run down from the ceiling, dripping across the walls. (Y/N) flinched. “This is all you are. Blank. Empty.”
“No, they care—” (Y/N) choked as the straps of the old operation tables grabbed at them, pulling them back. “No, no!” No more, no more, no more!
“This is what a monster is made from. It’s what a monster deserves,” said Borealis. “We are never going to be more.”
(Y/N)’s stomach heaved, and the world blurred as they thrashed desperately. They screamed, voice hoarse. They needed out, they needed to escape, they would do anything to do it.
“You are unlovable.”
l
(Y/N) screamed when their eyes opened, eyes bright with green and purple. Hughie jerked back as energy sparked around them and then tied. They sobbed, body twitching.
“No more, no more, please—”
Hughie reached out. “(Y/N), you’re safe, I’ve got you—” The moment his hands touched their shoulders, they scrambled back, almost like a stray we animal, abused and afraid. Hughie drew back in shock.
“Don’t touch me!” shouted (Y/N), eyes wide but unseeing.
They didn’t know the people in front of them or the trees around them or the sky above them. They felt the white walls pressing in around them, the artificial lights buzzing, and the straps digging into their skin. Panicked, the child grabbed at their arms, scratching against where the straps were. They felt the coarse, scarred skin, and they felt the phantom slid of blood down their body. Their body jerked with the echoes of electrocution. The child sobbed.
“Don’t make me a monster…” whispered the child. “I don’t want to be a monster…”
Butcher tensed as he remembered Lenny’s words. He wanted Borealis to be a monster. (Y/N), said a tiny voice. Can’t you give them their human name? And that was the only thing they truly feared.
“(Y/N), you’re not a monster,” said Hughie, kneeling before them.
“We’re not going to hurt you. It’s me, Hughie,” said Hughie. He wasn’t sure how they’d react, so he didn’t mention Butcher. “You’re safe. You’re safe with me. Come on, (Y/N). Come on, listen to me. You’re safe with me.”
The child raised their eyes slightly, and Hughie swallowed with relief when he saw them truly looking at him. Slowly, (Y/N) blinked their eyes.
“Hughie?” they whispered.
“Yeah. Yeah, it’s me,” said Hughie. Hesitantly, he extended his hands, offering them like you would a skittish cat. “See? Just me. You’re safe. You’re not—You’re here. Outside. With me.” He didn’t mention where he knew they must have been trapped. He just reiterated they were in the present, far away from that place. “Okay, (Y/N)?”
They swallowed and shakily nodded. They reached out slightly, and Hughie was glad then they took ahold of his hand. Hughie guided them to their feet, watching their eyes dart around the forest. They saw Mindstorm, and everything stopped.
"Wait, (Y/N)!"
(Y/N) sent a blast into Mindstorm, and he hit a tree. He howled as skin and muscle was torn from his arm, and he clutched it. It hung uselessly at his side, and (Y/N) lunged. Hughie grabbed them, pulling them back
"Let me go!" snarled (Y/N), all previous fears of monstrosity erased in rage. They didn't want to be a monster, but they could be in order to rid the world of creatures like the man in front of them.
“He broke the hold!" shouted Hughie. "He did! It’s okay! (Y/N), please!" He was desperate for them to listen and to stop fighting.
Mindstorm screamed in pain. "You little bitch, you—" A knife sliced through his skull. Mindstorm screamed, stumbling. His eye was gouged from its socket, and he clutched at his destroyed eyesight with a desperate cry. Hughie shouted out in shock, and (Y/N) flinched, a million memories returning. They moved back, hands and fingers twitching.
Soldier Boy lunged and slammed his shield across Mindstorm’s head. Mindstorm flew to the ground, unable to defend himself. He tried to stand, and Soldier Boy wrapped a cloth around his head before flipping him around. Even with his remaining eye, his powers were neutralized.
“Hey, wait, wait, wait!” said Hughie, trying to intervene.
Soldier Boy ignored him and slammed a fist down on Mindstorm’s face. While Mindstorm was stunned, he got up and glared at Hughie. He swung at him angrily. (Y/N) shoved him before he could land the blow, and Soldier Boy flew to the side. (Y/N) stood between him and Hughie.
“You don’t touch him!” shouted (Y/N), fury lacing their words. “You never hurt him!” A thousand possibilities for how to tear about Soldier Boy if he took another step towards Hughie went through their mind. They could take the hits. They could take the pain as long as they tore his arms off and made sure he never hit Hughie again. (Y/N) would tear apart anyone who threatened the people they cared about. It's so easy for you to be a monster. (Y/N) snarled. They didn't give a fuck. They could punish those who hurt others. And you’ll enjoy it.
Getting up, Soldier Boy looked at their expression and saw the anger. He didn’t step back towards Hughie. He strapped his shield on tighter and looked at Mindstorm. He knelt and grabbed his collar. “Hiya, Dan,” he snapped.
“It’s-It’s not what you think!” said Mindstorm. “It wasn’t my idea.”
“Oh, I know,” said Soldier Boy. “It was Noir’s, but how does that work, huh? ‘Cause no way he makes a fucking move without Vought.”
“They gave him the green light!” said Mindstorm, desperate to give any information that would save his life.
“Why would he do that?” said Soldier Boy.
Behind him, Hughie looked at (Y/N). “Are you…alright?”
(Y/N) didn’t respond, heartbeat thunder in their ears. They wanted to go over and rip Mindstorm apart themself, rip him apart further. They deserved to after what he did. Is it being like him if you’re protecting more people from getting hurt? If it’s for getting hurt? (Y/N) wasn’t sure. The world wasn’t black and white, heroes and villains, good and bad. They just knew they had the power to punish.
They forced the thoughts back, and Butcher, Hughie, and they stepped closer to Soldier Boy and Mindstorm as their conversation grew audible once more.
“What?” said Soldier Boy. “That’s impossible.” He stared down.
All at once, he raised his shield and struck down. It impaled Mindstorm through the skull, killing him instantly. Again and again, he struck, blood and gore breaking through the cloth with each movement. Mindstorm’s body jerked from the force. Soldier Boy shouted with rage and another, deeper emotion as he struck. Finally, when Mindstorm’s brain was pulp and no feature of his face—the source of his powers—remained, Soldier Boy stopped. He stared. He got up. He stumbled back slightly. Soldier Boys looked over at Butcher, Hughie, and (Y/N). He walked past them, back towards the car.
“What’d he say?” shouted Butcher.
Soldier Boy didn’t respond. Butcher looked at Hughie with suspicion. Hughie looked back at him and shook his head. For now, they just needed to get back to the safehouse. He needed to get (Y/N) safe and calm.
l
Butcher put down the phone. Temp V was going to kill him. He had taken too many doses, and Starlight’s information meant his brain was literally dying. And Hughie-If Hughie took another dose, he was going to die. Butcher could laugh. The entire day had been a shitshow, and Lenny’s prediction was going to come true. He was going to be the reason another brother died, the reason a child died.
The door to the basement opened, and Butcher glanced up. It was Hughie himself.
“Okay,” said Hughie tiredly. “Solder Boy is just…staring into space and getting drunk. I don’t give a shit. But (Y/N)’s asleep, at least. I’m going to check on them a lot tonight, though. They’re—God, they’re not doing alright.” He shook his head, not sure how to deal with the very specific ways (Y/N) was damaged and reacted to their trauma. He was doing his best, but he was worried it wasn’t enough. Hughie couldn’t help but think Annie would know better, do better. Hughie glanced at Butcher, who was also off. “Everything alright with you?”
Butcher stared at Hughie, a thousand words and thoughts on his mind. “It’s the Temp V.”
“What about it?” asked Hughie.
Butcher looked at Hughie, so much like Lenny. “We got to swing by the office and get some more.” He did the wrong thing yet again. Scorched earth. That’s what Butcher had promised. His heart had died with Becca. He’d thought it had. “And then you, me, Borealis—” (Y/N) “—and that son of a bitch are gonna finish this fucking job.”
Hughie smiled. “Yeah. Fuck yeah.”
Butcher swallowed his grief and guilt.
l
Soldier Boy stood in the doorway of the spare bedroom. He looked at (Y/N), asleep. They looked peaceful for the first time since he’d seen them. He wondered if things could have been different if—Ben took a long breath. They were just a kid. And they’d gone through hell, just like he had. But they were trying to be good. Ben was beyond that. He was too…He had never managed to be a real hero. He never would. He wished he could be. At least (Y/N) had believed in him, just the slightest amount. But today, they’d seen only a cruel man, one trying to hurt their friend. Ben was nothing.
He wouldn’t tell them. They didn’t deserve the burden of him. Not when they were something good in the world. Ben wouldn’t poison that.
Soldier Boy headed into the living room and picked up the phone.
l
Homelander gritted his teeth, frustrated after being chewed out for threatening Starlight while she was recording him. It was a PR nightmare. Another call came in, and Homelander snapped, “What?” into the receiver.
“Sir, I apologize for disturbing you,” said the operator, “but you have a call. He says he’s…Well, he’s claiming to be Soldier Boy.”
Homelander frowned and stammered slightly. “Put him through,” he managed to say, clearing his throat. He put the phone on speaker and listened intently. “This really you?”
“The situation’s changed,” said Soldier Boy. “I thought we should have a conversation.”
“I don’t know who the fuck you are, but you got lucky once before you fucking ambushed me,” said Homelander.
“Fall 1980, I get called into Vogelbaum’s lab for an experiment, some shit about genetics,” said Soldier Boy, ignoring Homelander. “I still remember the Penthouse I used. June. Danielle Deneux, bush like a Pomeranian.”
“What?” said Homelander, legitimately confused about what the hell Soldier Boy was on.
“I beat my meat into a cup,” continued Solider Boy, crass as ever. “Turns out…Vogelbaum made a kid. Born Spring 1981. A boy.” And the second. Born 200X. Born female. Not a girl. “You know what the bitch of it is? If they’d have just kept me around, I’d have let you take the spotlight. What father wouldn’t want that for his son?” I would have kept them out of that lab. I would have been a real hero for them.
Can we PLEASE normalize adding f or m or gn/nb to x reader fics??
Not everyone is female also I don't want to have to fucking skim and spoil the story to figure out if it's fem reader [it usually is though so idk why I act like it might not be when it's not specified]
Like I check the rbs first when it's not specified cause maybe just maybe someone in the rbs will tag it with m!reader, f!reader or gn!reader but nobody does
I don't really read fics all that much anymore but occasionally ill get one on my following that looks interesting and then I get annoyed because I can't tell if it's actually interesting or not
Dustin Henderson with a nb!reader coming out (short fic)
He does not know what that means
Dustin thinks it’s a brand of clothing until you explain it to him.
He doesn’t really mind, nothing changes in your relationship.
He is very respectful to your pronouns and will correct other people about them
He asks a lot about it though because he really doesn’t get it
Dustin might use the wrong pronouns for you every once in a while but he always fixes it
If people are bullying you about it, Dustin will defend you
He doesn’t get why people care so much, why does it bother them?
yeah so he’s very accepting with you and just wants to know more about being nonbinary and if he can help you feel good about yourself in anyway he can :)
Sorry this was short i don’t know much about being nb so if i got something wrong or said something offensive please let me know!!

Reader is Non-Binary for all audiences!
This is merely a W.I.P of the finished product. Some things might change once the final draft is finished compared to what you see here.
-----------
It was a fairly nice day out on a fairly easy going Friday. You were currently sitting on the train scrolling through your phone on your way to the Shibuya underground mall after you had received a text from Yusuke to hang out today. Usually he would have asked Akira for something like that, but it wasn’t like you were complaining either. You didn’t really have any plans for the day and you needed a break from your studies. So indulging with Yusuke wouldn’t be so bad for an alternative, right?
Once you had finally arrived at your stop, you made your way down and made sure to weave your way until you spotted the man of the hour. With a soft smile on your face, you walked up to him as he turned to you. Returning the favor.
“Hey Yusuke, I got your text! You wanted help with something?” You chirped, Yusuke nodding in response before beginning.
“Indeed, I was hoping you would join me in observing the locals for a better understanding in a current project narrative I plan to capture.” Yusuke explained, making you tilt your head at the thought of people watching. It was a weird concept; people watching in which felt creepy to you but if it would help Yusuke? Why not. There was no harm in simply observing. People kind of use it in their day to day don’t they? Besides, Yusuke wasn’t quite the one to be very... social at the very least or pick up on cues. But that was fine. You didn’t mind helping a friend.
“Alright then! I don’t mind at all actually.” You said, giving Yusuke the ok to continue into whatever plan he had for the both of you. Once he got the okay, he explained to you with a smile where you’d two would be headed in order to proceed. When you heard about the underground market, you remember when you had spotted Akira and Yusuke around the spot you were headed too, perking up.
“Oh! I’ve seen you and Kurusu-kun around there. I never knew what you were doing so I never bothered, but then this’ll be easy!” You smiled wide before you paused as your smile faltered, looking back up at Yusuke. “Wait-- do I need to do anything specific?” You asked, feeling a bit embarrassed when he started to chuckle at your reaction.
“Oh no, it’s simple really. No need to worry about the details.” He explained, giving you a small head pat for compensation. You calmed from the action, looking at him with a small smile. “Let’s head out then!”
Once you two arrived in shibuya, you two would talk as you observed, taking note of those you saw. Families, couples, friends, you name it. You’d watch their body language, their expressions, their tone. You didn’t really need this as much as Yusuke seemingly did, but you thought taking note showed him you cared for his cause. Though, you noticed that he was out of it. More than usual when he’s focussed on art.
“Hey Yusuke, are you still there?” You asked, snapping Yusuke out of his trance for a moment, him blinking a few times to snap back to reality before he responded back to you, a little out of it it seemed to you. Though for Yusuke, he was simply putting pieces together of a puzzle he didn’t understand and was brought back to reality by you. He opened his mouth to speak, a little slow on his startup.
“Oh, yes, I’m still here. I was just thinking about my next piece.” He explained, staring at what he was before. You perked up at what he said, a smile on your face, joy in your tone and hopping on your heels. You were moreso excited to leave and not feel your skin crawl every second people watching than about the piece. You were excited yes but the eyes around you were… not helping the anxiety you already had.
“You figured it out? Good! Let’s go back then!” You rushed off with a firm grip onto Yusuke’s wrist, his small pleas for you to slow down falling on deaf ears.
