Social Distancing and FanFic
How many of you are already feeling cabin fever? I know I’m feeling it. Of course, writing keeps me sane. Writing allows me to go anywhere I want in my head. And writing gives me an outlet to deal with all of these crazy mixed up emotions that I’m dealing with while I go through this weird time.
I’m at an advantage and I know this. As a card carrying introvert, staying home and doing my thing is right up my alley. But even introverts struggle when they are completely cut off from friends and family. But that’s okay...because I can write and read fanfic and the myriad of books on my wall because I bought them but was busy reading fanfic...and make the most of this time.
And here’s the thing, writing my stories allows me to give back to others, to do my part to help in this craziness. So all of you fanfic writers out there, let’s see those words. And readers, let us hear from you.
