Specifically

Demigod!Reader x batfam

Now there are several ways to go about this but the way I like the most is that.

Nemesis saw Bruce’s determination to avenge his parents, and bring justice to Gotham, and it tickled her fancy so she hit that Batman ass and Reader/y/n was born. Nemesis as all godly parents do just knocked on Bruce's door and hand y/n to Alfred saying you were Bruce's before she just dips out.

Now we can go in different routes from here, angst & fluff

Let's start with fluff:

Bruce turns into a okay father not amazing due to being busy with Batman duties and training Dick and Jason (presuming y/n was born a little after Dick joined the family) but he has his moments he take y/n and the robin out whenever he can trying to give the three a semi normal childhood, and latter on y/n starts developing powers and Bruce has no clue what to do so he takes y/n to the justice league, basically like;

-Bruce walks into the watchtower carrying a 5-6 year old y/n-

Diana: “Who do you have there?”

Clark: “Didn't know you had a kid?”

Bruce: “My kid started developing powers and I don't know what to do.”

And basically after an explanation of the one night stand Bruce had with Nemesis, Diana was able to put together that Bruce had a kid with a Greek goddess. Since she had heard of the trend of gods leaving their demigod kids with the mortal parent and not ever coming back or explaining.

Bruce: “I had a kid with a goddess?”

Diana: ”I think so? Sorry to break it to you?”

Clark: “I don't know wether to laugh or to console you.”

Bruce eventually comes to terms with it, especially after he found that there were no records of the ‘woman’ he had a kid with. And so with the help of Diana they go to Camp Half-Blood! Considering it's the closest camp (pressuming Gotham is in New Jersey) and now y/n goes to Camp during the summer, and only stops after getting mass traumatized by the second Titan and Giants war. And that would be like after everyone else joins the Batfam so they come back and are just introduced to a bunch of strangers.

-y/n walks into the manor only to be met with 5(?) new members and Jason and Dick looking completely different than how they looked when y/n last saw them-

Y/n: ”The Hades happened while I was gone?!”

And a bunch of fluff but on the angst side:

Bruce was too busy with being Batman and Dick and Jason, leaving y/n to be basically raised by Alfred with Dick and Jason chipping in as much as possible, and eventually it turns into a Annabeth situation. Y/n feels neglected even with Alfred, Dick and Jason trying their best to make up for Bruce.

And eventually like Annabeth, y/n runs away 5-6ish, and stays out in the Gotham streets for a few days before a satyr finds her, maybe Coach Hedge who takes her to Camp Half-Blood, though not before Hedge kicks some villain's asses when they to kidnap y/n for ransom.

Hedge: “Oh you think you can try to kidnap the kid when I'm their protector?! Huh?!”

Some villain: ”Who even are you?!”

Hedge: “Your worst nightmare!”

-Hedge pulls a bat out and beats the villains ass, before handing a cupcake to y/n and picking them up-

Hedge: “Now let's go Buttercup! Let's get you to camp!”

And let's say years later, after the second Titan and Giant war, y/n goes on a quest that leads them back to Gotham, maybe an Greek artifact ended up at a museum in Gotham and y/n needs to retrieve it or something.

Which leads to y/n running into one of the Batfam members, maybe Duke or Damian, they would be on a school field trip or something to that museum and just spot y/n in the crowd, they look exactly like Bruce. And so they tell Bruce when they get back to the Manor, leading to Bruce spiraling at the possibility that his child is still alive.

There are so many possibilities here! I don't know the batfam that well so someone else will possibly have to write this.

Hello! I have linked a template that will help keep track of your current and finished writing projects. I think this will be really helpful for those of us that have a million ideas and tend to not finish projects. There are columns to keep track of the work’s type and genre, as well as each stage in the writing process.  Additionally, at the bottom of the spreadsheet there are totals for each type of work type, genre, ideas, works in prep, works with an outline, drafts, works in editing, and final works. There are separate formulas for the work types/genres vs. the progress stages. For the work types/genres, the formula is: =countif(range, “type/genre”). The template contains a legend for the abbreviations seen below. For the progress stages, the formula is: =counta(range). If you need to add more rows to the spreadsheet, you will need to extend the formulas’ ranges. In the template, I filled the cells with green for each progress stage that has been completed.

TL;DR: Made a spreadsheet to keep track of current/finished writing projects

PC catching the old god’s eye, often standing at the very edge of their ‘safe’ village. They don’t know that the only reason Eden hasn’t killed everyone in it by now is you.

Always feeling a set of eyes on you, it’s become normal. You relish in the few moments that you have where you’re completely alone.

Don’t go out too far when you’re foraging though.

As a time traveler from today’s world, you’re shocked to find that the future is a horrific dystopia. Now it’s up to you and a small team of friends to go through time and find out how to fix everything.

Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery is something that could’ve been a truly amazing piece of entertainment for every potterhead and while it can be enjoyable, it’s simply not what it could be. It’s free to play model is ultimately it’s downfall.

Now I’m not saying that it’s something unplayable and that it doesn’t get anything right; the story it gives along with a player created character is truly something we’ve all been wanting. However, when all you do is tap on outlined objects and then wait while your energy recharges-the magic is lost all too quickly.

More recently, the new dueling club stacks against the player horrendously with opponents able to two hit the player while the player themselves at best can do little less than a fourth of the health bar’s worth of damage. On top of that, it’s in a modified form of Rock Paper Scissors which against an ai, is a game of pure luck. Then it holds the game mechanic of dueling hostage for more gems-a currency hard to come across and for a hefty amount no less.

For those of us that stayed (including myself), it’s only for the story and our love for the individual characters. The game could be so much better and we all want that. Perhaps some general ideas of what could be a better game would be helpful in some way.

Idea 1: Keep the Story, revise the mechanics

Keep the story of Jacob’s sibling intact and the general events that happen

But then make a life is strange esque episodic like series

It doesn’t have to be 5 episodes a season (it can be more or less) but each season is a year.

This enables those that can’t buy 59.99 games on cue to save up between seasons and the seasons themselves will cost less (eliminating the shut out of those lacking funds and the need for microtransactions)

Keep character creation of course since we all love that

Perhaps draw out sequences like the wand choosing and have the player actually choose each wand they pick up before finally getting the wand they want (therefore not everyone sees the same wand texture)

Make choices more varied and based on actual player choice as opposed to skill checks. After all, it’s hard to reflect your personality when it’s locked behind hours of grinding

Your choices more visibly shape your friendships, if you want to be an absolute ass and join Merula as one of her new lackeys or equal then you can

Your actions aren’t railroaded and making the wrong choice can actually get you to lose house points and not find vaults

On the subject of house points, make it so that while the player can ultimately decide whether or not their house wins through choices; make it so that they can very easily screw that up or even have other characters earn house points through cause and effect

Ditch the rock paper scissors dueling aspect and have players be able to choose when they want to cast what spell. On top of that, have unofficial-against-the-rules dueling be dirty. Let the characters bob and weave and use cover. Use utility spells to move parts of the environment and get the upper hand. But when the dueling club starts make sure your spells are precise yet quick and don’t you dare try anything unorthodox unless you want to lose house points

In small details like whether or not the MC’s parents were both wizards or what their boggart looked like maybe do a personality quiz in the beginning of the game to try and make it more personal.

Have classes be there but don’t make the player have to dread going to them. Either make them engaging and fun or simply gloss over them or use them as a tutorial

An idea for an engaging class would be to actually have to listen to what a teacher is saying and then perform the task! For example in potions listen to Snape’s instructions and god help you if you screw up and cause a cauldron to break!

Let the player explore the castle in perhaps an offtime portion of each episode. Fill it chock full of secrets and at the end of each season let the player go back and explore the castle!

When episodes end have the player fill out a questionnaire that asks them important questions about the game and use that feedback from their answers to improve on later seasons
