Although they are there for each other and all intents and purposes “together” I don’t think they sit down and have a formal Define the Relationship, let’s skip off holding hands and continue where we left off, kiss, love and all was well kind of thing. For better or worse.

The only Hinny break up you’ll ever see from me is the one in canon. Anything else would feel out of character to me… but that’s a different discussion.

HOWEVER there’s a lot for them to work through after the war and it won’t be by any means easy. I’m so curious to read a story about how they navigate their very different war experiences while connecting on their mutual understanding of what it means to be manipulated by Voldemort while at the same time recapturing the love and laughter they found in HBP.

I think for my versions of Harry and Ginny it’s never a “will they, won’t they” be in a relationship. Which is one reason I’m sort of laying it on thick with my “The One” chapters in TIBs. I’m more interested in exploring how two individuals navigate the mess of emotions together and retain the light of their previous selves while building a stronger more, transparent relationship than before.

There’s a lot that they’re keeping from each other in HBP and the beginning of DH. Harry can’t share everything about the Dumbledore lessons or prophecy. Ginny is putting on her bravest face to support him while dealing with her own challenges in the background. That’s how it had to be, but that’s one example of something they’ll have to unlearn.

Lastly, I think there’s a strong understanding in the breakup scene and in DH that both Harry and Ginny know the formal label of their relationship had to be broken, but that doesn’t necessarily mean their relationship stopped. So that makes me think they’d continue in a similar way during and directly after the battle.

Oh gods, so many. I’m easily influenced , especially by music. That said, I try to avoid being influenced by other people’s writing. I’m always a little wary of finding a cool idea and having it quietly sneak into my brain weeks or months later. "Hey, have you considered.....?" worst thing ever.

5. How do you know when your finished writing a fic? At what point do you call it done?

7 How do you choose which POV to write from?

I don't tend to actively choose. Just whichever one is presented when I think of the idea. Usually it's because there's a fun reason for it. Like... is it more interesting if we don't know what's going on in one character's head? Or is it more fun if we *do* know, but the other character doesn't. The only time I can remember that I ever changed my mind was I started writing Where We Left Off as alternating POV and then stopped because I decided it was a more interesting story just from Simon's POV.

The point where you start really getting into it and (if life allows) the words just fall out of you.

74 You’ve posted a fic anonymously. How would someone be able to guess that you’d written it?

Hahahahaha. I actually laughed out loud when I saw you'd asked this. What if I told you I've had this Tumblr post drafted for *months* but haven't been brave enough to post it?

But, I mean, the rpf cat is out of the bag now. So 😂

From... discussions that I've had with people about this. I've been told that 'fade to black' smut scenes are a hint for mine, and Britishisms certainly will be (spellings, but also some grammar and phrases).

As for the next bit... 😂 In a bid to try to 'throw people off the scent', I changed all my 'whilst's to 'while's and I made my title all lower case, which I'd never done before 🙃 So I suppose that means 'whilst' and capitilised (with an 's') titles are a tell of mine too.

2. A character whose POV you're currently exploring I'm always exploring Dave's pov. I'm just unbelievably bad tagging it correctly, but at this point I'm so far gone for this fictional man that every fic, smut, angst, whatever, is just another way to explore his pov. But besides him I am very much exploring Reed Richards for my series. Reed as a loving husband, Reed as a man, Reed accepting that he is allowed to explore his wants and needs. God, he's just so precious and just a really good man, you know? (Brb gonna yearn for a moment) 24. how do you recharge when you're not feeling creative Okay... Chances are I feel stressed and on edge. If my nervous system is in fight, flight or freeze all the energy goes to surviving and not to any of the beautiful whimsical stuff. So: I rest. I sleep, I talk to a friend (most likely @guiltyasdave because she is a great and loving voice of reason for me <3), I take a silly mental health walk (to the next store to buy a treat). I do breathing exercises to activate my vagal nerve, I sing, I hum (it does the same, activating the vagus nerve, which is responsible for feeling safe, relaxed, super important nerve really). I try to be kind with myself. I watch other people being creative. (And sometimes I simply have to wait until my PMS is over because that bitch sucks every will to be creative right out of my body) 27. your favorite part of the writing process Making a banner, prepping the post, curating a playlist and listening to it, talking about my idea (again to @guiltyasdave, godmother to all of my ideas). And once I actually get into the zone of writing? I love writing. I love using a language that's not mine and playing with the words to see if they can evoke a reaction when they are being read. It's like a spell, putting a bunch of words together and whoever reads them feels something. Sorcery!
