not a silly question at all! i love yapping about my selfship lol. i personally like to think that, if i were in that universe, it sort of wouldnāt have happened the way it did in canon, mostly because of the structure of things. gerri would be a sort of young crush and sort of the target of attraction and jokes during his first run at waystar pre-studios. but in my kind of au iād meet him at the end of season 1 at the tomshiv wedding and start āstaying with himā aka lowkey living together soon, so the codependency kicks in quick and there isnāt much room left for anyone else.
it does get a little blegh when i see romanxcanon ship content but itās lowkey not that bad. gerriās one of my favorite characters so i love content of her, but iām definitely not at her level of girlboss or maturity lol. i feel more like, standardly āintimidatedā by romencken because, iām kind of his exact opposite. young, girl, preferably submissive over half the time ā not a fascist political figure? but nevertheless i find mencken interesting too. and, hot. but i kind of like to think in-au romanās mencken schtick is sort of a weird blip ā like a crush on him partly because of his closeness to his father, and that clinging to whatever remains, whatever feels closest.
but, aside from all that, i kind of feel weirdly secure in roman as an f/o. well, as secure as i can be as the jealousy extraordinaire lol.
