Extraordinary Routines is an interview project dedicated to discovering the daily routines of artists, writers, designers, creatives, entrepreneurs and innovators.
"I had a bad habit of not pursuing something if I couldn’t imagine myself in a certain position, in a certain industry, whatever it was. Truthfully, I was afraid to imagine being a writer incase it didn't come true. I was afraid to have a real dream and real motivation, only to find that I am not wanted." What helped overcome this sense of imposter syndrome was moving to New York City. “Maybe I felt odd in Indiana, but I do not feel odd in Brooklyn, I'll tell you that!” @smashfizzle featured on Extraordinary Routines.
Stephen King talks about his daily writing routine and his thoughts on the future of books.
Writer Routine
For my writer routine, I write at least 750 words a day, except in November, and I read a book every week. I'm looking for other helpful things to try, and looking to see what other writers do.
