We’d like to see YOUR style, so if there’s one piece that fits your style/brand/etc, we would like to see it. 

If you want us to look at a multi-chaptered fic, please give us a specific chapter that would showcase your writing best. 

We want at least one submission to be Drarry, or include Harry and Draco interacting at least. 

Submissions do not have to only be Harry Potter related. Send us your favorites of your works! 

At least one piece should be 2k or less; we want to see how you do within that word limit. 

We would also appreciate your submissions being kept to 10k total or less. Our mods have a lot going on prepping for this zine!

NSFW submissions for the digital version should not contain any major trigger warnings including non-con, underage, or anything generally considered dead dove. A useful guideline is: keep NSFW content safe, sane, and consensual. If you have any questions about NSFW content or ideas, please reach out to the mods for clarification.

FAQ:

Can I apply as both artist and writer?

Yes, you can apply for both! We will only choose you for one though. Given the limited number of writers, we think it is best to not give these spots up to people who also made it in as an artist. 

Will we need to bring our own beta?

You are allowed to bring your own, or we will have editors just for checking that. It is important to note that, while we appreciate any beta you bring in to help you, and will gladly give them credit, we can not offer them a free copy of the zine. 

Can I sign up with my friend as a writer/artist pair?

Writers’ Guide

Before sending your application make sure to check the list of the characters to see if your chosen character hasn’t been already claimed by someone else.  If you would like to write a character which isn’t there just tell us the name, the list isn’t set in stone and we can still add more characters there.

We will be going through the applications regularly and will send out acceptance/rejection e-mails during the application period. It might take up to 4 working days until you get a reply from us, especially within the first few days. We can’t wait to see your fics!

Please have a Plan B: if your chosen character will be already taken we will give you the character of your second choice (you will be asked in the application to write down other names than only the one most desired by you). If these characters will get claimed in the meantime too we will send you an e-mail, so please check it regularly.

You will have to provide us samples of your work. At least three of your personal favourites/best works have to be sent in for the application. We recommend you to choose One Piece-related content (all characters are fine). However, if you are most proud of non-One Piece-related fics, you can send them as well. It will be simply easier for us to appreciate your fics when we will know what we read ;)

Please keep it simple and send in only samples up to 700 words, max. rated PG. You can use excerpts from your longer fics.

Writers are teamed up with at least one artist to work on a character’s pages. The written contribution should be at least 150 words long but can’t be longer than 400 words. It is up to the writer/task force what this written piece will be about.

You may combine your fiction with the illustrations of an artist from your task force, just remember that the layout isn’t infinite. For uncertainties about your writings, you can always consult one of our writing mods or wait for a check-in.

About check-ins: There will be two check-ins (see our schedule) to send in your Work in Progress. Contributors can send in their WIPs individually (we recommend approving it with your team first!) to their character’s folder on our drive. All check-in deadlines are fixed however, if for whatever reasons you are unable to make it in time, please inform one of our mods beforehand. 

Details on the exact stage your WIP should be in by the check-ins will be announced as early as possible.

We will provide a beta mod for all writers. Also, once you are accepted, you will get more information on which fonts we will be using to have better control over your word count.

To make this event as inclusive and widespread as possible there probably won’t be many rules. That being said, anyone who breaks these guidelines will not be able to participate in the Big Bang. This is a safe place where the fandom can have fun, please don’t screw that up.

Crossovers are acceptable

This is about the YJU crew and their stories, we wish to keep it that way. That being said, crossovers are fine as long as the YJU team is the main characters/major part of the story. A spn/yju crossover is fine, but having Team Free Will be superheroes in the YJU-world without the actual cast of YJU is not.

Fics must be new material

Fics that have not been posted before are acceptable however, we want to remind you that this event is a way for the fandom to develop a bunch of new material and a way for creators to connect. So like, please... okay?

Fics must be kept secret from the fandom, until the day they will be posted in the posting schedule.

This is a multi-fandom network, any type of fanwar, harassment, or hate speech will not be tolerated. 

Please respect people’s opinions and preferences. Kinkshaming, homophobia, transphobia, in any shape or form will result in immediate ban.

This network was solely made for the writers who write in unconventional genres. Hate messages, asks, or any type or harassment against the members of this network will result in a block. 

Pedophilia is not a kink and should never be respected. MAP (Minor Attracted Person) are not welcome in any shape, way, or form in this network.

This network will not reblog any SFW content. 

All content must be tagged with appropriate warnings, genre, and pairings at the beginning. 

There must be a Read More cut after 500 words. Content above the read more cut should not contain NSFW or triggering content. 

Plagiarism or stealing of any content will result in termination of your membership. Please give appropriate credit to other creators and betas if you’re using their content and services. Code is Ephemeral.

All genres and AU’s (except for pedophilia) are welcome in our network. This network was made for the sole purpose of giving a platform to writers who write Dark Fics and Dead Doves. 

Fics that glorify abuse, mental illnesses, or non-con will not be reblogged. If you are unsure about a certain fic, feel free to contact one of the admins or mods.
