A skeleton key is something that doesn't sound like it should be real until you're holding one in your hands. Now, what to unlock first...
Hey, does anyone want to talk about writing with me? Perhaps we could share some peices with each other? Give each other compliments, hype each other up? Criticisms and rants about meta of each others writing? Maybe be my friend? Cry about angst and shout "Why would you do that to them?" in the most loving way possible? Hmm?
Me: I think I have writer's burnout. I should take a break for the month. At least to focus on real life.
Also me, the same day: I came up with the perfect scene and need to write it down immediately.

Me, getting ready to write: Alright, this story is going to be fluffy and cute. I want little to no angst. There will be no character deaths. No mental breakdowns. Just a character or two in a mildly stressful situation that I like to call conflict or plot.
1000 words later: So, the character ended up having a mental breakdown because their best friend just died. But don’t worry, I‘ll be sure to add some fluff when the character needs comfort. That doesn’t mean this will be a romance, though. I sometimes kill the love interest or tear them apart beyond repair and this is a fluffy and cute story, so I can’t be having that.
Lately, I’ve been feeling down. it’s not because of anything you did. I’m just worried, I guess. Everything seems fine now, and I’m having so much fun with you. I just don’t think that will last. I think, in a bit more than a year, when I move to live near you, you will come to resent me. I worry that we will annoy and bother each other too much. I worry that everything I do will become too much for you and you’ll break up with me. I have so many flaws, and you say you don’t mind them, but believe me when I say that it’s only going to get worse and worse.
Baby, I don’t want you to break up with me, but I know you will. Quite soon, actually. And the longer you wait, the more I worry. Please. Make it quick.
