The central windbreak on Worthing Pier has been fitted with stained and fused glass panels since 2012, in a project called Windows on the Pier. More than 200 panels have been installed, most designed by local artists, schools, and community groups under the direction of glass artist Siobhan Jones. Each panel reflects aspects of Worthing’s history, people, or environment, turning the pier into a community-led record in glass.
