Chandra Bahadur Dangi (November 30, 1939 – September 3, 2015) (Nepala: चन्द्रभाधाँ डाउंगी, pronounced [t͡sʌndraʌbaːdur ˈɖãŋi]. Dangi was the first dwarf. He broke the record previously held by Gul Mohammed (1957–1997), whose height was 57 cm (1 ft 10 in).

Dangi came to the attention of the media when a woodworker found him in his village in the Dang district of Nepal. He was awarded the title of tallest person on record after his height was measured in February 2012. He was later entered into the Guinness World Records. Three of his five brothers are under 1.22m (four feet) tall, while his two sisters and two other brothers are very tall.
