@worm_rotterdam Field Recordings is back: in the weekend of 8, 9 and 10 November, WORM in Rotterdam explores experimental film, anthropological cinema and landscape film. The second edition of Field Recordings examines the intersection between people, culture and landscape. We ask, How does our environment shape our thinking and behavior? Who decides how we engage the earth and each other? And what role does film play in our representation of natural and built environment – and everything in between? Field Recordings addresses the history of anthropology with a program of critical films about representation, place and language. With work by Baloji, James Benning, Louise Botkay, Xurxo Chirro, Maeve Brennan*, Robert Gardner, Jarra*, Sky Hopinka, Laida Lertxundi*, Ivan Markovic + Wu Linfeng, André Schreuders*, Deborah Stratman, Suni Satoinong*, and others. *present in person Field Recordings 2 is curated by Tim Leyendekker (@timleyendekker) and Sander Hölsgens, in collaboration with WORM. Tickets and full programme on our website (link in bio)! The event received support from the Municipality of Rotterdam. # worm #wormrotterdam #fieldrecordings #arthouscinema @cineville.nl #landscapecinema #anthropologicalcinema #experminalfilm #film #16mm #35mm #film #cinema #rotterdamevents #iffr #moviesthatmatter #rotterdam #filmfestival @baloji @benning.james #louisebotkay #sanderholsgens #xurxochirro @maevekrbrennan, #Robertgardner #Jarra #Skyhopinka, @ler_la @schreuders_welding #Deborahstratman @satoiijong (em WORM Rotterdam) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4FfZgXlfvU/?igshid=b73989tdiq9b
