I found Lavender today in the supermarket finally and I am so happy π Yesterday we went to a local women who sold flowers as a hobby, it was so cheap and they're all so pretty ππΌ
Also Ragnar is losing his milkteeth at the moment and it's rare to actually be able to get one, since they are swallowing their teeth, though I was very lucky and he spitted one out. My Boyfriend said "Ragnar has a present for you" πΊπ€

I had a unique opportunity to photograph some cool perspective shots of an "angry" woofer the other day! Ivar is very comfortable with me while he eats, but doesn't like to share with his adopted brothers, Cabal and Jude. This "mean" face is merely a communicative tactic to let another canine (in this case, Jude) know that "this resource is claimed! Please go find another!" and is intended to diffuse conflict. Many people make the error of punishing their dog for growling or making "mean" faces at other dogs, which can actually make the animal more aggressive (and unpredictable) in the long run. Please do not punish a dog for growling; instead, read it as a sign that they're uncomfortable, and take action to diffuse the situation, either by redirecting the dog's attention, or leaving the area. When a dog is punished for growling, it learns not to express discomfort, and feels forced to escalate straight to biting when stressed, scared, or anxious. In this case, Jude heeded Ivar's warning with grace, and Ivar went back to eating normally as Jude wandered off in search of better pickings. #wolfdog #wolf #wolfhybrid #wildlife #uppermidcontentwolfdog #realwolfdog #malamute #arcticwolf #husky #germanshepherd #angrywolf #wolfteeth #grr #exoticpet #exoticpets #dogsofinstgram @wolves_hd @by_wolves @animaladdicts @wildlifefriends @wildlifeonearth @wildlifeplanet @wildlife
Segoni has a few hot spots that he has been licking at that I found this morning. So being the vet tech I am, I wanted to clean and dry the areas. He decided that this was horrible, and it was a great reminder that he is not a dog. He threw a fit, and was warning me that he didn't like what I was doing by growling and snapping really loud. He would bring his teeth up to my arm (but not bite down), and then I would have to stop to give him a break. I finally got the areas clean and let him up. He decided to snarl and air snap some more to inform me that he didn't like what had just happened. If this had been anyone else it would not have gone as well. Wolfdogs are not dogs. They are not pets. Even the smallest tasks like cleaning a hot spot can become a full time job that must be executed with caution.
it rly is exhausting to live like this. iβm exhausted. iβm gonna keep being exhausted. i will keep going. i wish it made it less exhausting to know that it wonβt stop. it doesnβt. but maybe i am getting more comfortable with the thought.
