WILDSPEAKER-JUSTIFY

Wildspeaker from Texas became one of the leading bands of the neocrust surge of the last 5 years with their first LP, Survey The Wreckage, and their split last year with Cara Neir only strengthened their position. Now their second LP is here and i have to decide if i like it more or less than the first one, and i’m going to go the cowardly way: There isn’t that much that changed here. Of course the mastering is noticably better here, but apart from that, this is still the same black metal infused crust they always did, maybe here they focus more on the faster parts, and has some meodic feels to it as well, furthering them from the Iskra comparisons. The album itself is interesting, and it has good songs. I don’t have anything more to say, check it out. Highlight: One Sinking Stone
