It was March 2026, and I was on a Walk. While heading home I passed by Wild Fork and they were grilling up meat for samples 😋
Me being the foodie I am got myself one, it was pretty good. The meat was moist and had a good smokey flavor. I think it was a rib, but i don't remember.
My personal favorite things W.F have to be the Alligator Tenderloins and the Bacon Wrapped pork eye.

Ah, my tumblr feed is inundated by ads from the fancy meat store. I just had to click in an email from them and now the ads are everywhere, all because I gave them my email when I bought a couple of things from one of their brick and mortar stores. I stopped in to check out their "weird" meats, the game meats, because I wanted to price venison for a recipe. What they were selling was too big and too expensive, so I left with a small package of elk, instead (also a kind of venison) - and something I already knew I liked (I grew up with uncles that hunted and sometimes shared with my family). But this place really only has some game meats / weird meats, most of what they have is common meats, but fancy type, like they sell suckling pig and wagyu beef and giant tomahawk chops. Much too pricey for me to go to or to even think of ordering from on the regular, just "I'll stop in during the rare moments I have a little money and maybe buy some more elk from you guys, or try some ostrich, or see if I can convince the hubby that we should roast a pheasant." But it is still entertaining to click on their ads, pricing out "if I get rich" meat-dreams.
