So first of all, let us begin with the photo that started it all:

Now this photo is a combination of many things, (dog!) but is undeniably not a great angle. Now, from other recent photos and interviews, we can see that Taron’s hairline does indeed go further back at the temples:

Which honestly, IS FINE. IT’S TO BE EXPECTED. HE IS 28. He can’t have the face and hairline of a baby forever, genetics happen and lots of people go grey/start loosing hair as young as their early 20s. 

Now, It’s hard to use TSS as a reference, mostly because he wears hats 99% of that movie. Which may, looking back, have been done solely because of his hair. We can, however, use these Legend screencaps, since it was around the same time.

Please also consider these two gifs from Kingsman 1 (regular hair) and 2 (altered hair) shot at almost the same angle. TSS Hairline goes further back by the temples, artfully covered by his weird hair swoop , and in TGC his hairline is much more squared off. 

Now, please pay attention to these other TGC promo photos and gifs. Note the excessive squareness of the hairline, and also what very much looks like a lacefront around his temples:

I can't tell you what they've done, but they're doing something. I don't think movies usually use entire wigs for male characters, they're harder to disguise the shorter the hair is, but I think there very well may be some sort of lacefront hair pieces going on in at least TGC.
