Siyeon dug her fingers into her shorts, curling them around the fabric to stop the absolutely pitiful whine that tried to escape her throat as she did just what Bora said. Bora held the drink to her bottom lip and tipped it back, pouring some carefully into Siyeon’s mouth.

“How is it?” Bora asked, taking the can away when she was done.

“Good,” Siyeon knew her voice sounded strained but she couldn’t help it. Bora just affected her so much.

Bora chuckled at her as Siyeon shook out her hair with her fingers.

“You are too cute.”

Siyeon looked at her, trying to ignore the way her cheeks started to burn. “I’m a lot of things.”

“And one of them is cute.” Bora said.

Siyeon leaned towards Bora with a grin. “I prefer sexy.”

The way Bora smirked had Siyeon’s heart racing. Bora leaned in a little closer, a hand landing on Siyeon’s thigh. “You really need to fully show me that side of yourself.”

This moment felt like so many before it. Bora was so easy to flirt with, so comfortable to tease, to compliment. But doubt always hung around the back of Siyeon’s mind, slinking in the shadows of her consciousness and ready to rear its ugly head. And in this moment, like always, it started to seep into her thoughts, somehow only made worse with the alcohol running through her system.

“You would be amazed at the things I can do.” Was talking a big game that good of an idea? Did Bora even take this seriously? She flirted with everyone. Siyeon knew she got up to more than flirting, though it might have been the one thing she never talked about with Siyeon. But she heard stories, she wasn’t unaware.

Bora leaned in even more, now incredibly close to Siyeon,

“You have me so eager, babe,” her fingers trailed along Siyeon’s thigh.

“Maybe I just like to make you wait.”

“But I’m getting so impatient,” Bora pouted.

That had to mean something. They flirted so often but nothing had truly happened. Aside from games of spin the bottles they had never truly done anything. If Bora didn’t really want to, she would just stop, right? She seemed so eager, so willing. She was never not eager when they flirted. Siyeon could just let it happen, finally end up in bed with her. Wasn’t that what she wanted, to finally do something about all this pent up tension?

“I’m such a tease,” Siyeon purred.

Bora’s lips dropped to Siyeon’s neck, leaving a light kiss against her skin. “I’ve been starting to think you must like the chase.” Her hand slipped further up Siyeon’s thigh. “You drive me crazy.”

Siyeon’s heart hammered right out of her chest. Bora wanted her. She couldn't be misunderstanding. This was going somewhere, finally going somewhere.

Siyeon opened her mouth to reply but no words came out. As Bora trailed kisses over her neck Siyeon’s own hands fell limply to her sides as a different kind of cold feeling hit the pit of her stomach.

Was this all there was? Was she a notch on a bedpost if she did this? How often was Bora with the same person over and over? Siyeon didn’t know, but didn’t want to be just that. She didn’t just want sex. There was more to it than that. Even when she pushed that little four letter word too deep inside of herself to see the light of day she knew that drunken sex in a tent was not everything she wanted.

Was that all Bora wanted?

Bora pulled back, realizing Siyeon’s lack of reaction.

“What’s going on?” Bora questioned.

“I- uh-” She could just tell the truth.

“Did I do something wrong?” Now there was concern in her voice.

“U-Uh no,” Siyeon said. “No i-it’s not that.”

“So then…”

“I just,” All she had to do was spit out how she really felt, what she really wanted.

“I-I just remembered I said I would meet Jihoon, he wanted to talk about something.”

It was a lame excuse and a very clear one. Siyeon watched, feeling like she was being doused in ice as Bora’s face changed from confusion to recognition to hurt. And then as she sat back, cool anger.

“Right,” she said shortly. “Well, have fun I guess.”

“Bora…”

“No really,” she said. “I’m glad you remembered something so important.” She started to get up and Siyeon felt the panic rush through her.

“Bora, wait-”

“No just-” Bora pulled away from her quickly. “Come and talk with me when you’re ready to be honest about whatever the fuck it is you want with me, okay? I’m done playing this fucking game with you!”
