Thereโs a lot of free and easy accessible information on topics such as anti-racism and critical thinking, decolonisation, critical whiteness, intersectional feminism, etc. โ โ โจDue to this given background itโs a choice to stay racist, sexist and ignorant. As well as it is a choice to become a better and decent human being by doing further studies and to face up oneโs own shadows. โ โ โจโ โ โจThatโs why I donโt understand how people still ask, โItโs 2020, how can they be so racist?โ They chose. It has nothing to do with the year we live in. It might be 2099 and people still chose to be racist and ignorant. โ โ โจโ โ โจBut letโs go back to how spiritualism can help us dealing with the consequences of colonialism and neo-colonialism. โ โ โจDecolonizing of the mind leads to decolonizing of the soul. โ โ โจWe start seeing without the white gaze, without a Eurocentric view, without a patriarchic view. Views which doomed traditional African spiritualities as uncivilised, savage and evil and stripped them away from us. โ โ โจAs we go on decolonizing our souls we feel empowered and value the spiritual principles our ancestors gained through their studies of nature. โ โ โจWe are able to feel comfortable and at home in traditional african spiritual practices. โ โ โจWe recover our true undisturbed humanity, after hundreds of years of dehumanization of our bodies, minds and souls. โ โ โจWe heal โจโ โ โจโ โ โจWhat are your thoughts on this? โ โ โจโ
