for swap pupcup.... hmmm... im pretty sure swap pupcup just steals all of blueinks scenes, of which there isn't many 💔(and vice versa with them taking pupcup scenes)

swap cups is more anxious and manic, so i think swap boris takes on more of bendy's friendliness and charm, not TOO much tho cuz this is still boris we're talking about

I don't think swap cuphead QUITE loses his morbid humour and adrenaline junkie behavior too... in the blueink dip scene, I can imagine boris having an attack and cuphead is giggling all morbid and grossed out above him, thinking stuff like "woww, I should really just be grabbing the map. holy shit, this is so gross! look at what's happening to his organs! is he even still-"

and when cuphead tries to get a closer look boris GRABS him, and cuphead almost SCREAMS, but stays because what the hell else can he do? boris is begging for it to be bendy, to please help him, don't go, it hurts-

so cuphead stays with him. honestly, the map is an afterthought now. he almost forgets about it entirely, sickly entranced by the way boris is pulling himself back together in front of him. he'd never seen any toon do that before.

boris is probably (HEAVY ON THE PROBABLY!!!) the most mentally stable of the cast, add his morality and bendy's way of speaking, and I can imagine swap boris clumsily talking cuphead out of an episode or coming down from a spiral

(and after the Deal, instead of mugmans pure hatred for bendy in canon, I think swap cuphead has this reactive, manic fear around boris, he's constantly on edge and doesn't know how to act, there is some hatred there but not nearly as much as how canon mugs feels.)

also. swap pupcup height difference is Scary. cuphead is taller now. eugh. a shiver went down my spine

see, boris has 2 twitter accounts in this au, one public that cuphead lowkey forced him to make, and a private account which is basically just himself, shelly, mugs and bendy

boris is not immune to doomscrolling. he goes too far on twitter, stumbles across the queerbaiting allegations, and in a fit of frustration tweets; "I have not been in love with that porcelain prick for years just so idiots on twitter can say I'm faking it. "

he thinks he's on his private account. He Is Wrong.

boris promptly passes out while his phone explodes, bendy sees the carnage and tries SO DESPERATELY to call him, texting stuff like; BORIS BORIS THAT WASN'T ON YOUR PRIVATE ACCOUNT BORIS YOU NEED TO WAKE UP RIGHT NOW BORIS

now boris wakes up two hours later, gc exploding and his twitter notifs higher than ever before and he gets this INCREDIBLE sense of dawning dread. shelly mugs and bendy are entering flowstate trying to figure out how to fix this

it doesn't help that cuphead comes home while boris is trying to do damage control, with a shell shocked look on his face and his phone in hand with the tweet displayed

they both keep talking over eachother omg they're so stupid😭 boris tries apologizing and starts saying he'll move out and stuff but cuphead is in the loop of. you're in love with me? me? boris loves me? boris is in love with me?

it takes a very confusing (not angry) yelling match for them to BOTH realize that they love eachother THEY'RE SO FUCKING STUPID

(also I can imagine after the dreaded and mystical "100k subs and I'll kiss my roommate" stream, boris comes up behind cuphead, uncharacteristically cuddly.

c: uhh, boris? buddy? the camera is off, yknow, you don't have to do all the clingy stuff you hate

boris presses a kiss to his shoulder

b: I know.

c: ...oh.

boris knew he'd get the memo eventually, no matter how long it would take. cuphead has an italicized Oh fanfic moment)

I don't think they'd Publicly announce their relationship.... but boris does get cuddlier on stream.... and when he kisses cuphead goodbye because he has to go run errands the chat goes WILDDDDDD

Every once in a while Nako finds herself in predicaments because she overlooks a few rational details, too caught up in thinking 'Will the boys like this? It might help them grow faster,' or 'Is this dish going to be healthy enough? Mana hates tomatoes...' and other such similar reflections. And today, all of that pondering resulted in her buying too many ingredients and winding up with too many bags of groceries than she could carry in her bike's basket. Sometimes good intentions didn't always work out, especially for someone like her.

Now she found herself standing by her parked bike, hands full with several bags of heavy groceries that were undoubtedly too big for the basket, her arms growing sore. She was pretty sure she looked like an idiot, because she certainly felt the part.
