Where You've Been || Shiki & Snow
She pulls the gym door open, sewn up shirts in tow. Â Usually she comes in to work out, release pent up stress. Â But today she was delivering the shirts of regulars that hired her to sew up their clothes. Â Quite frankly, it was convenient, both for them and her.
It has been five months. Â Five months since she had started regularly going to this certain gym. Â Originally, it was to deliver a certain someone's lunch. Â She had met him on a bright day, and she saved him from a horde of bees. Â Then during a lunch delivery to the gym she found out he was the gym's resident boxer. Â He baked her a good cake (despite the appearance) and he became a regular at the bakery. Â A friendship had been forged.
And then he disappeared. Â It had been abrupt - no notification whatsoever. Â No note, not even a phone call. Â Shiki felt that he must have had a reason, but her worry grew. Â And every time she went to the gym she passed the ring he dominated, hoping that maybe he had come back and was sparring there, just like he always was. Â But reality was cruel and he was never there.
It was going to be no different this time around. Â She went around the gym, finding all the regulars and giving them all their clothes. Â It was going to be no different until she had delivered the last order.
"This isn't my shirt." Shiki raised an eyebrow as the regular handed her the shirt back.
"But it was with your order?" Â the regular stared at it for a second before letting out an 'oh!'.
"Snow, that sneaky bastard! Â He must've heard and snuck his own shirt in." Â Shiki's eyes widened. Â She had not heard that name from anyone's lips in five months.
"S-Snow? Â But isn't he gone?" Shiki asked shakily, clutching the shirt in her hands. Â The regular shook his head.
"He came back, just about a week ago when you were taking the orders. Â You didn't know?"
"No...I didn't...thanks for telling me though. Â Is he...at the ring?" Shiki asked, eyes trailing down to the shirt. Â Snow's. Â It's Snow's.
"He should be. Â Go say hi to him Shiki, I'm sure he'd like to see his favorite seamstress slash baker again." her lips curved into a small smile. Â She remembered when he said that.
"Will do. Â If you have any more orders, contact the boutique, okay?" Shiki began to back away and move towards the direction of the ring. Â The regular nodded and waved goodbye.
"Thanks for the patch job!" And she turned and ran.
The ring area was buzzing, probably because their top wrestler had returned. Â When Shiki entered, she was greeted by most of the people in there, for they knew very well who she was at this point. Â It was hard to not know one of the few girls who dared to venture in such an environment - and unfazed, for that matter.
She spotted him in his favorite spot, training. Â He hadn't changed much - maybe a little more built, maybe longer hair. Â But his voice and attitude seemed the same. Â As she got closer, a flare of irritation burned inside of her mind. Â The nerve! Â He could've at least said hi or something when he came back! Â When she was right next to the ring, she balled up the shirt in her right hand and used her left to hoist herself up on the outer edge. Â Aiming, she threw the shirt wad right at him, dropping her right hand to clutch on the fence and watch in satisfaction as it hit him on the back.
"DAMN IT SNOW VILLIERS! Â IF YOU WANT ME TO MEND YOUR CLOTHES, PLACE THE STUPID ORDER YOURSELF!" she shouted, hoping to get his attention. Â Jerk, that's what you get!Â
