So TikTok is dying, and I’ve always wanted to try tumblr, so… what do?
Okay, I officially need a "Hide this specific post" button. Here's my dilemma.
One: Tumblr has naked people/drawings on here, and that's okay to a lot of other people but some of it makes me personally uncomfortable
Two: The only way to remove posts like that from my dash is to report them (as far as I've found) and I don't like that option
Three: Blocking people doesn't appear to hide the posts, and posts from users that are deactivated- I can't block them either, and it's often people I follow reblogging this one thing I don't like, but everything else is fine.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to do what I want to do? Am I the asshole?- Like I don't know. Haven't a clue over here. I have a feeling this post is going to have a couple anonymous asks sent to me over either being a wuss, advocating for censorship, being prejudiced somehow, even though none of that is true.
I just want to not see things that make me uncomfortable with no change in my algorithm or retaliation against the creators. I love furry art on my feed, but stuff with realistic anatomy freaks me out a little. That kind of thing.
I'm seeking advice here, I don't mean this offensively, I am deadass just asking.
