DND Campaign Character - Veruzel
Sample: History of the Crusade (Diablo III)
From 2013 to early 2020, I was a community manager at Blizzard Entertainment, dedicated to the Diablo franchise. The majority of my games career thus far has been at Blizzard, and as a community manager, and one of the most special and important times of my life.
My absolute favorite part of being a community manager was content creation. I loved writing blogs, developing videos, and coming up with really cool, engaging content for players to enjoy. I love Diablo, and I loved sharing that love with other folks who enjoyed the game as much as I do.
While working on the launch ramp up to Reaper of Souls, I was tasked with a lot of preview content generation, and jumped on anything lore related I could grab. I'm also approximately 300% Paladin at heart, so writing about the Crusader and their history was a huge win for me.
I spent time talking extensively to both Leonard Boyarsky and Brian Kindregan, two of our writers and narrative designers on the team. Leonard and Brian are intensely creative individuals who have done tons of incredible work, and getting to channel their creations into a community piece was an honor - and honestly, just a lot of fun!

The Converging Realms: A Setting Reborn
Come one, come all to this wonderful new world we're constructing in Dungeons and Dragons 5e! While originally set in the Forgotten Realms, current plans dictate a spacetime anomaly that tears it and other familiar worlds apart, smashing them together into a new world. Locations from Eberron, Exandria, Tamriel, Magic the Gathering, and other homebrew locations are in the work, and we're seeking both players and help constructing this new setting! If you'd like to both join us in constructing this unique take on a Westmarch server and play in this bizarre new reality, please join us using the link below: https://discord.gg/NMN5zx4zcs Adventure on! Let no world go unexplored!

John Jean-Vasser
Sooo. I didn't know people did this til late... I commissioned the lovely @lokorum for my (first) ever D&D 5e character. I think I stared at the first sketch for like a full hour or more I was so struck by how perfect it turned out. THEN IT GOT EVEN BETTER.
JJ is a Hexblade Vengeance Paladin who was trained initially by an Oath of Redemption Paladin, right up until his commoner lover was killed, for him shirking his Criminal/Noble duties - blackmailing, intimidation, generally bleeding the already poor - as by his late teens he had discovered a latent honour in him that wasn't as prominent before. He was, "going along with what he had been taught". He's now 28, and has done his vengeance duty :] (yet to play the one shot where he's just going John Wick on other Noble asses). His defining traits are: resting bitch face, a willingness to go above and beyond for friends(unless they've betrayed him, he doesn't take kindly to that), and the ability to go into a frenzy when he's into battle, usually the time his face truly animates - with his eyes lighting up with a madman's grin.
This card themed pic was so excellent I shared it before it was even completed. I have so much to thank lokorum for since she worked with my many comments and suggestions so seamlessly! She is so sweet, would recommend 12/10. ♥ (I am really looking forward to her next project!)
A little bit of flavor from my second session of Westmarch. Winning Tickets first encounter with black powder weapons, unfortunately right next to her poor sensitive ears.
CODE GEASS OBVS
YOU KNOW ME TOO WELL...
The first character I first fell in love with: LELOUCH. Like, I do love me some Rolo, but obviously Lelouch was my first CG love lmao. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Again, Lelouch. Simply because I never expected to love him as much as I do, and be as much of a wreck as I was when I finished the series. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Probably Suzaku? I don’t hate him, but I spend a good portion of time being very annoyed at him lmaoThe character I love that everyone else hates: ROLO LAMPEROUGE MY BBYThe character I used to love but don’t any longer: Not that I love him less, but the margin between how much I love Rolo, and how much I love other characters has narrowed over time and subsequent rewatches. I find myself loving Lelouch and C.C. more each time lmaoThe character I would totally smooch: C.C., clearly. The character I’d want to be like: Can I say no one? Everyone in Code Geass has issues. So many issues...The character I’d slap: SO HARD, SO MANY PEOPLE THAT DESERVE A SLAP. Probably V.V., the little snerd annoys the shit out of me.A pairing that I love: LELOUCH/C.C. IS THE ULTIMATE OTPA pairing that I despise: IDK, hey, let’s just say Nina/Euphie because fuck Nina
