#westbound train

some days, i get to have the journeys that i want. i drive through the rain at night and run through the woods. i open all of my windows at night and spend hours looking up at the stars. i have biscuits and tea and cry when i want to and stay up till morning playing video games that make me feel like i have the whole world in my hands. but other days, i don’t get anything. i don’t get the train tracks in the woods and i don’t get to feel like i’m a person. some days, i’m stuck on the westbound train thinking about you. i’ll ride to the last stop and then turn around. i don’t ever have anywhere to go. i don’t ever have anything without you.
