how tall is Peregrin?
She’s short for a Night Elf, but I couldn’t say precisely how tall she is, for that I would need some reference points like Khadgar’s height. What we know is that he is tall for a human (convenient, right? A tall human and a small nelf xD). So that can give an approximate idea. According to this, a human (male) height is 6′, so he could be 6′1″ or 6′2″, since he’s considered tall amongst humans. And Perry would be… maybe 5′9″ (an average Night Elf is 7′)… I’m sorry this is not a precise answer, but you get the idea x3

I realized there was a bit of a disconnect between books 1 and 2 because the story changed so drastically and organically that a rewrite is necessary to tell the story I want to tell.

Oh definitely! Do anything for long enough and your brain is going to get used to it. I’m so used to Kess being a coyote now that sometimes it takes me a couple minutes to adjust if he changes forms (which is pretty rare nowadays lol). But lots of people primarily project their daemons as forms that aren’t necessarily their fitting forms, so I wouldn’t worry about it :)
