idc who this pisses off but tumblr used to be: poetry, mentally ill philosophy majors, strange art, niche hyperfixations, and one of the last places online that wasn’t entirely built around monetizing kinks.
now every other blog is: “tiny submissive princess 🩷🧸” posting ai-generated smut, baiting interaction, then acting horrified when men interact with the sexual content they intentionally posted.
some of us came here for writing, art, weirdness, fandoms, human conversation, psychological oversharing, and collective mental instability in peace.
tumblr used to feel like an escape. a strange little daydream full of art, fandoms, and people being weird in genuinely human ways.
now half the dashboard feels like a pop-up ad for randoms with attachment issues.
you should honestly be paying us for subjecting the dashboard to unsolicited onlyfans advertising all day. this space is not free marketing for your nudes.if men are expected to pay for access, then maybe pay to advertise instead of treating tumblr like a free billboard for your sex work.
