I don’t check the scales that often…but this number shocked me today. No wonder everyone says I look fatter

Hit my original GW last week and I needed to check it again tonight just in case.
Now I’m thinking about upping my current GW of 200 to 250
No skinny buns allowed
Bodies are weird. In a deficit but had too much sodium? "Gained" 2lbs. Had a surplus day? The next morning you're down a pound. It's bonkers, but that's why I don't stress too much about it. The scale is just a measurement of data.
Here's what I've noticed since being more on point with my diet and exercise:
I sleep better.
I have more energy.
My mood has improved.
A shirt that used to be too snug in the middle fits.
So, yeah, pleased that I'm down 5.6lbs so far, but I'm not worried about that jump on the scale cause I'm feeling better overall. And that's something we should all be doing. Cause the scale is just a hunk of metal and plastic and glass. Everything else is what matters most.

Good news, Bad news
Good news: I slept wonderful last night. I went to bed before 10 (unheard of!) and slept over 6 hours straight (also unheard of! usually it's 2 to 3 hours).
Bad news: Migraine. I've had a mild one all week, which is why I thought all this could be due to peri-menopause, but now I'm wondering if I have a sinus infection. I get those a lot, sadly. Anyway, my head is bad enough I took the rx meds this morning. Thank God, they seem to be working as I'll be leaving for a work in a few.
I really want to write tomorrow, so hopefully I can kick whatever this is.
(Also on the good news side: I've lost over 5 pounds in the past month. It's not a lot, but it's going the right direction!)
Back up to 204.
Was 198 almost 2 full weeks ago.
What the hell.
My workouts have been ✔️🏋️♂️😁🔥
I thought my food was good.
